I found X to be quite an amazing experience, since it was my first foray into the franchise since I had left the TV series and TCG when gen IV started around 2006 as well as my first pokemon game. Admittedly, the biggest reason it holds so much replayability to me is because of the gender/race/clothing customization; that along with all the new cute "fairy" types introduced in this gen. Out of curiosity, how far are you?

According to the article it starts tomorrow but it might just be for Europe or France. Maybe in other places it already started.

Nice! I just got a random encounter shiny Numel! I was using dexnav and forgot to apply a repel, and just before I reached the Pokemon I was trying to catch (Slugma) it appeared! Glad I forgot now!

Yes they have their hiden abilities to. I love it; the golems are my favourite legendaries.

Did anyone pick up Pokken? I just got it today and I got to say, I'm REALLY surprised and impressed how complex the mechanics are.

What I was expecting was a bogged down Tekken, but we got the exact opposite. I gotta say I'm really enjoying it so far.

I tried out the demo version and while I'm not the best player around for fighting games, I actually enjoyed it. Though 60,00€ for full game? No thanks.

I understand. It's definitely hard to recommend a full price purchase for people who aren't as huge on the fighting genre. Though I can definitely recommend it to people who are big on the genre at full price. I haven't had a whole lot of time to play it cause of college unfortunately, but I can definitely see myself getting hours out of this.

The consensus on french VG press is that Pokken is pretty much shit. By reading all of you, I'm guessing that is isn't. Who to trust?

Most reviewers are saying pretty positive things about it, so you don't need to take the word of one publication to decide that judgement for you.

(Note: I usually evaluate my purchase based on what majority of users think, and what other big outlets are saying)

Though I'm loving the 'complicated mechanics' criticism the game received from IGN. Yeah, because a fighting game (that isn't Smash) is gonna be simple, right?

I learnt by randomness two days ago that Hard Rock Café Lisbon would organize today an official Nintendo event concerning the 20th anniversary of Pokémon. I had a great time there. I even won a new 3DS faceplate of Kyogre in a side activity :D.

Poké-Hawaii, eh...

I was kinda rooting for Poké-Germany as a region next to Kalos in order to have 16 badges like in Gold/Silver, but oh well.

I'm really loving the look of this game, particulary I love how they've gone to using full body models for the overworld as opposed to just the chibi styled ones.

I'll be getting Moon myself although i'm not sure which starter to choose. Rowlet is obviously the cutest there but chances are it's going to end up with the ugliest last evo like Chespin.

Starters aside: Look at the way this new game looks. While graphically nothings changed unfortunately, those new character models look DAMN GOOD. They actually look like full on trainers and not just a chibi-fied smaller version of the character. (I see Serza pointed that out as well).

I certainly got some Hoenn vibes with the hawaii setting!
