Yeah, the purple Lums and flying hooks are the spiritual successors of the flying rings. I mean, if they use a watermelon instead of a plum in RO, will it have a separate article? Surely not!spiraldoor wrote:I actually think there’s a strong case to be made that flying rings and Purple Lums are indeed the same object rendered under two vastly different art styles.Hunchman801 wrote:There also is an article for the flying hooks in Rayman 3. However, those three will not be merged, as they clearly are different objects, even though they serve the same purpose.iambored2006 wrote:[...] and the strange thing that replaces the purple Lum in RO. Since there already are 2 articles in this subject (Flying ring and Purple Lum) and the creature which probably isn't a Lum in RO will have to have a different article, I suggest we merge these 2 articles and add the thing from RO.
Thanks, but I posted a video with the Teensie using his helicopter a lot more time (0:22)-RaySpola wrote:This is the video where the teensie wizard uses his "helicopter" (at 0:55)

I guess that the console version will be realesed in November because like I said before, this game would be an episodic one, so when they where saying last year that it would be realesed it was the 1st episode of the game wich would only have like 4/5 stages and then later they would make the other stages for the 2nd episode, but when they made it a full retail game they started creating all the stages, cutscenes and other stuff from like 4 episodes in 1.Diamante wrote:I saw the release date is in Novemver, why too late if this game was report 1 year ago?
But in this case, it's just an sort of..I don't know *remake* for the 3DS. I'm confused. All those release dates...StaceyW wrote:It's called a delay.
It happens to games all the time and ***almost*** always for the better ie in this case.
I think it's a shame they're doing it a 20 hour game. That's awfully short! Isn't the average about 40 hours? I'd be so happy if they extend it to be like 50 hours even if that means they release it next year.stan423_321 wrote:To be honest, I can't see why you would buy Origins for 3DS supposing you can buy it for something else. So far I find it to be a game of... average length. This means it's supposed to be played with friends for "pure nonsense fun" (and in case of handheld, it is not that normal), replayed all over again (so far, trailers didn't show level design encouraging this), or just a troll (do not think so).
RO was meant to be episodic, but for some reason they decided to pack, like, 2-4 episodes in one bag. This means release date push, happening once, is fully acceptable.
Hello again, everyone!

Almoust every game are 20/24 hours long, a 50 hours long game would be the most epic game ever o.oiambored2006 wrote:I think it's a sham e they're doing it a 20 hour game. That's awfully short! No, the game hours are the "main game", you can easely beat a zelda game in 10 hours or less if you know what to do just like any puzzle game.iambored2006 wrote:Zelda games are 50+ hours and so are self respecting first person shooters. I'm not sure how much R2 is but I think it's well over 20 hours.
I took 3-4 years to complete Sonic Heroes at 100% because I never tried to get the Chaos Emeralds to unlock the Final Story, last summer I finally managed to do that with 2 of my friends.StaceyW wrote:There was once a point where I could beat Rayman 2, Dreamcast version, in just about 4 and a half hours straight, whether I backtracked or not I can't remember because I was 13 back them haha.
I sort of know that, I have a DS(L). However, a handheld game is (usually) more focused on single player. Why? Because in most cases (not that there aren't exceptions, like Worms or that DSi fighting game) you need extra system for extra player, and this is a barrier (again, there are exceptions - Pokemon in Japan, for instance).Tmsp95 wrote:Hi.stan423_321 wrote:To be honest, I can't see why you would buy Origins for 3DS supposing you can buy it for something else. The prupose of the handled consoles is to take them everywhere, Imagine you go i dunno, camping.
You cant take your console with you, it takes to much space, but if you bring your handled that can fit in your pocket you can still enjoy the game without any problem.
Now that you mention that I believe you're right. In the co-op mode, life points do not exist and each character is instantanly killed at touch. It makes a more fair, fun and challenging game when playing in co-op.Tmsp95 wrote:

The 20 hours must be a default time. It will obviously depend of the skills of every player. Maybe Rayman veteran players with more skills than the average player can finish the game in that ammount of time.iambored2006 wrote: I think it's a shame they're doing it a 20 hour game.
