I also liked the original Hunter.
Don't most Americans still think that we stand around drinking tea, sweeping chimneys and affecting a Cockney accent?

Don't know about "most Americans". However even original Hunter fits the Polish stereotype of "Cartoony English Adventure Man" quite well, and Polish cartoon stereotypes are rarely created by Polish cartoons, because we don't have a lot of those. Guess who created most cartoons aired in Poland?

They say in some interviews that every level is about 20 minutes to a skilled player.
You know, I was right. I had this theory about why they suddenly changed the regular Teensie from black to blue- you can choose between them (and the Grand Minimus). Ancel says in the interview that there are different species to play in (and in this context, I think I know what he means).

I'd guess (and hope) it means you can play with different characters besides Rayman, Globox and the 2 Teensies. Maybe Ly or Betilla. Did someone here play Super Paper Mario? In it, there are parts where you can play as one character because you saved him or something, and I'm guessing this could be the same.

Maybe the blue-, orange- and black-clothed Teensies are actually different characters?

Or maybe the black teensie will turn out to be Mr Dark

I even have been having a wierd thought (but silly at the same time) which is "Are the Teensie Photographer and Mr. Dark the same person?" . I noticed that the Teensie Photographer design is different from the Co-Op ones. Maybe it is a variation of Teensies, or a different artist drawing them.

The life bar will be only used for 1-player mode if Im correct.
This is an excellent observation. The multiplayer mode’s bubble system makes the game much easier, so of course the single-player mode is going to have to do something to compensate for the spike in difficulty that comes when you don’t have three friends constantly regenerating you. I’m quite sure you’re right.
I've been thinking about all this for a little while, and I've noticed something. In the trailer, Rayman is seen to have 8 hit-points in total. There can be up to four players, all with one hit-point in this case, but all able to get an extra hit-point if they collect a heart. So if all four players have a heart, it will take 8 hits to take the entire team down, just as many as in single player (although players can revive each other, so in this case it's still a bit easier to survive in multiplayer).

In response to a message two pages ago, you guys can of course attach pictures to your messages but you are invited to compress them a little, to avoid files over 100 kB when possible, and to use external hosting services for the less important ones. It's just that with RayWiki, RayTunes and the forum, we have to watch after our hard drive

Picture City confirmed! I’m delighted. Apparently pop art and pixel art will be involved this time round. Ancel also mentions that, in addition to the Tetris crossover, Rayman Origins will contain references to numerous other games and films.

So, what kind of worlds do we have now? Forest, Picture City, Glacier Cocktail, that desert / tetris / red monster area... There are 6 worlds, right?

Don't forget Band Land. Also the cave from the first trailer (could be the same cave of the daisy) and the stone golem. And tetris is in Infernal Kitchen. Moody Clouds of course. The underwater level seen in the showcase, with that boss. Also in the showcase are the level with the bowing Teensies creating a portal, and the metal world with the spikes coming out (they could be the same one, though, since they're connected).
On another note, you're right, Haruka, the photographer has a thinner and longer nose, like that creature from the trailer. Someone said a few days ago that he's the only tall Teensie- Well, he's standing on his luggage

.
Edit: I just noticed something strange in the concept art-

Does anyone have an idea what it is?
Also in that picture are these-

In the footage I uploaded about a year ago, Rayman has 7 hit points, 2 of them he already lost. In the trailer, he has 8 hit points. Big Power returning, maybe?

It isn't exactly clear whether the art-based level in Origins will actually be Picture City or another art-inspired world, but I'm quite confident it's the former. Hopefully!

He said that it was ‘like in Rayman 1, a level based on the art’, so it’s most likely Picture City. Even if it’s not given that name, I’d still imagine the two games’ art environments to be regions of the same country in much the way I perceive the Infernal Kitchen, the ‘Glacier Cocktail’, the Sweets world and Candy Château as different places within the same land.

A recent poll by Gameblog.fr gives Rayman Origins the first position along with Tomb Raider (14%) in the players' list of favorite games at E3. Whether it's on the internet or around me, I keep hearing enthusiastic comments on Origins everywhere I go!

Thanks for sharing that up here! I wonder how I wasn't able to find this while I was doing researches recently. At least the Brazilians were able to interview Ancel. The gaming imprense in Portugal should do the same, like MaxiConsolas or BGAMER for example.
But oh wow, I am so happy that Picture City was confirmed. It was one of the worlds I wanted most to see a return. Pop-Art and Pixel Art? Fantastic. Roy Lichtenstein would be pleased

That oddly reminds me the mines of Minesweeper. Maybe it is a reference to that? We'll only find out later. I am also curious to learn about the films references and other games references that will appear in Rayman Origins. I'm sure that it will contain references to the Tim Burton's movies. The Land of the Dead is a quite probable reference.

I’m pretty sure that’s just a redesigned Red Lum.
