- still bummed about the job, that ended up being the scam job (I have been looking for a job for 1 year, but no luck so far, either getting ghosted or rejected or even almost getting scam jobs at times), even tho they stated that it was social media manager job, but when I was shown what they were doing actually... yeah Quickly left it as soon as possible.
- still struggle with finding a job properly here in Ukraine, maybe would have more luck in other countries at least...
- my period started once more and it's as usual as a huge pain in butt (no pun intended) and I don't feel good

- Had the most rancid cream cheese an hour ago and I still feel tha shit in my mouth. wtf is that texture??

+ Finally got the new lock for the door today.

Explanation: There was a little screw under the latch on the old lock. When I removed the latch, this fell into a "neutral" position, since it's a split spindle lock. I assumed it was broken because of this. After fitting the new lock, I seen instructions on the side of the old one, and when I followed the instruction and turned that, the old one worked again. A piece of spring fell out, which is what would have been jamming the latch all along, but our handles have springs anyway, so this wouldn't have even mattered and it would no longer be jamming. Well, I learned that the hard way, after having to wait about a week to get a replacement, and my parents had spent money while the old one now would have functioned for us.

Well, you live, you learn.

The problem here is that I do have days of free time, but I can't really stop thinking about those 4-5 different projects of the PhD that I have to finish. But it is what it is, this job implied fighting and dealing with this kind of pressure, and that's what I have to do, that's it.

Ffs, back before I stopped giving a damn, I was arguably quite like that in my engineering job, despite not being particularly well-paid (at least for the first few years), and obviously not getting any qualification out of it! Hopefully I won't have too many problems driving myself that hard again, and for something more worthwhile this time

Ooh boy am I scared of that... Not the act of getting them cleaned by a professional, the judgement of said professionnal when he asks how I clean them myself.

As far as the official word goes, they're meant to be self-cleaning, no? And by messing around cleaning with buds or pickers, you're more likely to cause impaction and blockages. At most you're meant to use ear drops.

Indeed. That's why if I say that I use ballpens I might the professional squirm.

Similar thing happened at the podologist in August when I told them how I took care of my feet (although no pen were involved)

Idk man. It’s mostly about politics. Which I have a big attachment to due to being the great great grandchild of a pm so it’s pretty present in my life. Tho I am only 16, I feel like I shouldn’t be talking politics but it’s such a big part in the world and in my small circle on tumblr that I’m having problems grasping it all. I might need a break.

Politics are complicated. I often opt to stay out of it for the most part, at least the stuff I've not done my homework / research on so to speak.
