As I am learning how to use YouTube (and didn't know there were quotes to other videos so I put them directly into the original one XD), here is a little video about me and my brother playing Mass Effect 3 MP Mode. Of course, already lots of things to improve, but soundbank is gonna be filled up with time, and recordign settings were bad this time around too...which gives a rather average video, but I'll surely do better next time!

saerleiya, I love the humor you have when editing videos. I laughed quite a bit while watching that. Only criticism I have is that you could've turned the mic volume up some more so you were more audible.

Thanks for the compliment. I was acting a bit dumb at that time, not really used to having a mic right before me while playing games XD.

That's why I quoted "recording settings" as an issue : I actually recorded system sound and mic sound on the same track.
Basically, if I wanted to make the mic sound better, the sounds from the game were affected at the same time, and I realized that after taking a look at the files into Vegas. I usually modify my mic recording a bit, as I have a laptop with a heat fan doing some noise if I want games to run a bit better or without making my keyboard too hot. I also want to remove the clicks from the keyboard and the mouse, as I'm hitting very hard when focused.
This time, I tried to find the best balance between each sound provided, but it still felt a bit underwhelming of course. So I turned down the volume for the entire footage, making it sound really low (if you play Mass Effect one day, you will figure out what I did even more). Problem should be solved for next time.

I think it's best to record your game audio and commentary on separate tracks to begin with. You have far more control over your overall audio that way. Fury-clicking or button-mashing isn't a problem if you can still hear the commentator. In fact, sometimes it sounds kinda fun to hear how excited someone is physically playing in combination with hearing how excited they sound.

I knew that, I just messed up with the settings of Action!, making it record all audio on the same track. I wanted to record them on separate tracks but I forgot this exact setting wasn't active at that particular moment.

Really? I still prefer to remove them along with the noise of my heat fan, but I'll give it a try ;).

I need to finish it first. IT's nto a big project in itself, it's just that i happened to be able to play with Shrooblord as he likes LoL as much as I do.
Tonight, I'll play with Hunch and Lovemetal on AOE II.

The topic used for that is mainly French, and we are speaknig French while playing. But you can ask Hunch and Love if they want to play. They mainly play during the weekend, though, because Hunch is working during the week.

That's great - I've usually got stuff during the week, too. And I don't mind if everyone speaks French - that should improve my skills in the language slightly, something I regret not actively pursuing sometimes.

Well of course you can play with us, but we speak quite quickly and with probably not the same vocabulary you learn in classes, so it could be somewhat hard for you though, depending on your french level.
And even if PH is speaking a perfect English, it's not my case and I don't think I wish to speak a language I'm not comfortable with for hours. :)
Also I don't know where you live, if it's outside the EU the connection latency would be a real problem.

I live in Holland. Don't worry about me not following along; I'm a pretty quiet guy even if I speak the language fluently. I'd just be trying to dust up some French by exposure, basically. And for the rest, have a lot of fun with you guys just playing the game. The language of thirty Teutonic Knights to the face is universal!

Ooooh, look at all the fucks I give. YouTube is now gonna be suspending monetization from channels who have copyright strikes so that they can't earn money from any video anymore unless they do not fix issue in 40 days. Welp, 40 days is more than enough to resolve any issue for me. So what did they achieve with this? Pissing off a lot of people who are scared of attacking big companies that strike them, but what this changes for me? NOTHING!
I wonder whats next change gonna be. But still whatever YT puts, I will conquer it!

Okay, I know YT is trying to avoid people earning money with their channels from copyrighted content, but I think we all know it's only a minority of them.
