Re: Rayman: Razorbeard's Vengeance Testing
Great news the game is finished! Now I need to hire testers. 2 more would be good.

Re: Rayman: Razorbeard's Vengeance Testing
I'd be happy to test the game
Re: Rayman: Razorbeard's Vengeance Testing
Well you should match Rayman 2 Prototype with it.It's quite the same as Rayman 2,but in 2D.That's great, but I thought this could be new storyline.Anyways goodluck with your fangame.

Testing stage has been completed! Expect the game to be released as soon as tomorrow
I apologize for the delay in releasing the game, I have been fixing many bugs and making many specs throughout the game design.

Re: Rayman: Razorbeard's Vengeance
Yeah sorry, due to my crappy limited internet gotta switch to slow wifi on my phone so the upload will take like 10 hours. Although my high speed data comes back tomorrow so I promise for real this game is gonna get released.

Re: Rayman: Razorbeard's Vengeance
Well folks, after 2 3/4 years of hard work, Rayman: Razorbeard's Vengeance, has been officially released
All you gotta do to make the game work correctly is to download the data folder, then after that, unzip the data folder, then open the extracted data folder and move the .exe game file out of the data folder and place it in the same place you downloaded the folder. Don't forget though to delete other data folders if you have it from previous demos. Feedback is of course welcome and recommended, positive or negative. Hope y'all enjoy this work I've put in throughout the years. Also I would like to thank Multimagyar, without him, there would be no Rayman: Razorbeard's Vengeance. Now time for the download link

Re: Rayman: Razorbeard's Vengeance RELEASED
excuse me rayman502,but why by pressing enter button i can't select start game even exit game in main menu?
Re: Rayman: Razorbeard's Vengeance RELEASED
For some reason I can't get the game to launch. It's hogging all of my memory and eventually crashes during the loadingscreen.
Just wanted to ask if it's supposed to use so much memory or then I'm just doing something wrong.

Re: Rayman: Razorbeard's Vengeance RELEASED
The game itself is only 23 MB. Its the music is why the memory is huge. I accidentally messed up. Ok so when you download the data folder, open it, don't extract it. When you open it, there's another data folder (for some reason), copy that to wherever you want to and open it and move the .exe inside the folder to the location where the data folder is. If there is any more problems I'll upload a video of how to make it work.
Re: Rayman: Razorbeard's Vengeance RELEASED
I tried it but the game still runs out of memory, and I definitely should have enough ram to run this game.

Re: Rayman: Razorbeard's Vengeance RELEASED
That's pretty darn strange. Tested it myself and it works perfectly. I'll look into it and adjust it though. Dang computers.Raymanni wrote:I tried it but the game still runs out of memory, and I definitely should have enough ram to run this game.
EDIT: Just for experimentation Raymanni try running the game without the music. Move the music file somewhere else.
Re: Rayman: Razorbeard's Vengeance RELEASED
Thank you, make sure that the game doesn't have some sort of a memory leak. Also, I'm using Windows 10, could that affect things?Rayman502 wrote:That's pretty darn strange. EDIT: Just saw your edit, I tried it but it didn't change anything.

Re: Rayman: Razorbeard's Vengeance RELEASED
Tsk tsk then it might just be the game itself, oh boy, more work. Alright it might just be your using Windows 10. I first started making this game with Windows 7, and recently switched to 8.1 and it works still. Worked best on 7.Raymanni wrote:Thank you, make sure that the game doesn't have some sort of a memory leak.
