Agreed. I started to get the hang of it after Anguish Lagoon, it wasn't really that difficult for the most part. Then again, if some people can't beat R1 on PlayStation/PC, then they ain't gonna beat it on mobile.Carrot-master wrote:I still don't understand what everyone's complaining about here... The controls are fine, much better than Rayman 2 on the iPhone. I've already beaten it several times with no issues. I mean, how did you expect them to be? There's no real way to have any better controls on a touch screen.
I'd almost say it's the other way around, considering you can now play with unlimited lives without cheating. Though it all depends on the players skills with the controls I guess. Personally I feel the touch controls are done very well for several reasons. Like the analog stick isn't stuck on one spot (like Rayman 2) but shows up where ever you put your finger. And then it's the different game modes which is a great way to let the player choose their difficulty if they're having trouble with the controls.Ray502 wrote:Then again, if some people can't beat R1 on PlayStation/PC, then they ain't gonna beat it on mobile.
Me too I'm playing the iOS version but on the Ubisoft site it doesn't tell me how to configure controllers! Can someone tell me how to configure controllers?CHRdutch wrote:Well I'm playing the game on original mode but it's just that I really can't get the hang of the touch controls. I can finish Rayman 1 on PC/PS1 just fine but with these controls are just really hard for me. And that's why I want the android version to have controller support, which it doesn't have at the moment.
Same here. That might just be the game itself.CHRdutch wrote:Alright, I'm kind of getting the hang of the controls, but does anybody else have a sound problem where the sounds that should be looping, don't loop at all? Like the fist charging etc.
Yes, as I've mentioned before, the repeating sound effects (charging fist, helicopter, plum on water etc.) don't loop properly. There's a bunch of other sound issues as well, such as the bonus music not always playing correctly and the Mr. Dark theme not playing at all. Also, good luck with the Breakout minigame if you reach it. It is near impossible in this version do to an annoying bug.Ray502 wrote:Same here. Ah yes, was disappointed when the final battle song wasn't playing, since it's the best boss battle song in R1. As for the breakout minigame, I've already have given up on it. After like 30 seconds I lost all the triesCarrot-master wrote:Yes, as I've mentioned before, the repeating sound effects (charging fist, helicopter, plum on water etc.) don't loop properly. I'm pretty happy that I didn't pay €5,- for this gameRay502 wrote:Ah yes, was disappointed when the final battle song wasn't playing, since it's the best boss battle song in R1.
