Hey there.

Remember that Yves Guillemot said Michel Ancel was working on several unannounced projects back in March 2008? SEVERAL. You know what that means? Not one. Not two. More than two.
So, what are his projects then?
- Beyond Good & Evil 2 ( obviously )
- Rabbids Go Home ( THIS IS LIKE THE DUMBEST GAME EVER - just kidding! )

- Tintin: The Game!

Michel Ancel will definitely make an awesome Tintin game.

The bad news is that the game is set to be released together with the movie, which will be released in the US on December 23, 2011 and internationally in late October and early November 2011 ( oh no, that's 2 more years! ).

Which makes me wonder about the release date of BG&E2. I don't think Ancel would release the 2 games at once, so BG&E2 has to be either end 2010 / beginning 2011, or end 2012 / beginning 2013... which will it be? I hope end 2010.

Anyway, if he'd release BG&E end 2010, this would mean that Rayman 4 would not come out until 2012... or later. OH NO!

O.K., you can say there would be no R4 for next, let's say, 11 years. But who in the world really knows what would happen next day? It is possible that another company would buy UbiSoft, or UbiSoft would purchase a company really interested in developing R4, or there would be gigantic changes in Ubi itself.

So, while not being optimistic, we can save our hopes.

Are you sure? It doesn't look like an Ancel game at all.

Ancel was involved in Rayman Raving Rabbids initially, he is/was not involved in Rabbids Go Home or RRR2. He's been too busy on Beyond Good and Evil 2.

Ancel's Tintin game is going to be based on Peter Jackson's film. Just like King Kong was. I wonder if Ancel will make more games based on Jackson's films.

Great news that Ancel has been giving the honor to develop a game for a comic character as tintin. Ancel is actually quite the Hergé of video games.

But don't worry, this doesn't mean that there won't be a Rayman 4 until 2012 or later. It only means that a Ancel developed Rayman 4 will have to wait until 2012 or later. But someone else can do Rayman 4 too. Look at Rayman 3 for example. Although i would prefer seeing Ancel developing it.
