You know, not to ruin your expectations, and i didn't play the game, but isn't the concept to "blocked" to make a sequel? I mean, wouldn't it be boring if you had to play more or less the same game with only changed stages / galaxy's ?
Sony has announced that they're releasing a God of War Collection for PS3, which will contain improved versions of God of War I and II on a single disc, both running in 720p and 60fps. With anti-aliasing. And they're adding Trophies. Hopefully we'll be seeing many more compilations like this in the future. An ICO Collection, a Metal Gear Collection, a Kingdom Hearts Collection, a Final Fantasy Collection, a Jak & Daxter Collection, a Ratchet & Clank Collection, a Grand Theft Auto Collection, the possibilites are endless...
That's wonderful. But Jak and Daxter already has an "collection" box. Although it's only with the old games.
It would be awesome if they ported all the old games to the PS3 ( that means running them completely native ). Wouldn't be too hard, i guess.
Precisely, and seeing as they had to cut down MGS4 in order to make it fit on a 50GB Blu-ray disc, I wonder how they intend to get Rising onto a 360 dvd...
A very good compression algorithm should pull it off.

No, absolutely not. SMG was great fun and I'd love to play more. I've seen some new things in the trailer too, riding Yoshi for example.

I've heard about a New Super Mario Bros for Wii, it isn't going to be the same thing as the DS?

That's not quite the same thing...
Imagine "Ratchet & Clank", "Ratchet & Clank 2: Locked & Loaded", "Ratchet & Clank 3", "Ratchet: Gladiator", as well as the PS2 versions of "Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters" and "Secret Agent Clank", all on a single disc. Now, imagine each of these games with 720p HD graphics, and anti-aliasing, as well as running at a rock-solid 60fps. I'm not sure if a Ratchet game ever had a special edition bonus DVD; but if it did, then this DVD(s) would be converted to a Blu-ray media file. Finally, imagine each of the six games having their own set of Trophies, including one Platinum Trophy each.
THAT is what I am talking about. And there is a very real possibility of it indeed.
~Ditto for all the other collections I suggested

It would be awesome if the PS3 would get his own Rayman 2 version, even better and bigger than Rayman Revolution!!

Right, the chance of that is minor than winning the lottery with a single ticket.

Looks like it's a pokemon game.
Anyway, I'm still really looking forward to Beyond Good & Evil 2, but also to Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep, Final Fantasy XIII, and Okamiden.
