The scariest part of the game is probably the music in part 3 TDOTK. The Knaaren are just mindless creatures who roam about and do nothing. I don't see what's so scary about them.

They beat the shit out of you when you get near them, that's what scares me.

Just don't go near them then, lol.

I can remind the first time I played R3 (October 2003) I jumped off the chair because of the mishap of the Knaarens suddenly appearing and smacking Rayman.

I got completely terrified when a Knarren attacked me, to the point that when the Teensie appeared in the middle of the screen explaining how to avoid them, I couldn't laugh at the randomness. When I finally could, it nearly came out as tears! Geez... I played for 115 minutes more than usual so I didn't have to do that world again.

Begoniax, mostly because I could imagine far too well what she wanted to do with Razoff...

Also, in part 2 of The Desert Of The Knaaren, they can actually jump up onto the platform you are on, it has happened to me before. Thankfully, he fell off before he could hit me.

I remember that a knaaren bugged in the second level and managed to get past the wall when you try to make one stand on a button below the Leptys statue. I was patiently waiting for the platform to reach me, and I turned to look and there was the bastard about to grab me! I jumped off my chair! XD

After that I mannaged to jump on the platform after getting beaten up a while...the knaaren DID try jumping on the platform too, but he missed and tumbled down.

Ohh god, there was a glitch in that part too which saw a Knaaren chase me up that ledge - I jumped onto a tooth-floaty-thing - and he just levitated, and followed me. All the way up to the green-can Teensie cage. It was damn scary, to just see him walking up into the air... after me...

Razorwife scares me

The frist time i played TDOTK i tought Knaarens wouldin't be as scary as everyone said, boy was i wrong. Everytime i hear the Knaaren music i start to freak and when i frist got caught and the Teensie came on the screen i thought something bad was gonna happen so i started freaking out more. I am now too afraid to go back and get the last two cages.

That was also my reaction the first time I played Rayman 3 (13 years old) and interacted with the Knaarens. And especially when I like to have the sound loud.

I played Rayman 3 some time ago,i wasn't scared by anything as i played lots-o-Silent Hill games,the only thing that made me jump from my chair was that when i was running from the Knaaren,it hitted my and a Teensie appeared on the screen,THE DAMN THING MOVED HIS NOSE BUT NOTHING ELSE!

Knaaren were pretty scary I thought.

Is it just me or is EVERYONE terified of the Knarren? A lot of people seem to be saying so, understandably.

When I was a kid, those black, fluffy caterpillars (which I called "Black, Fluffy Sheep") terrified me, and so did those black, fluffy balls with white eyes (anyone see a connection with those things and Black Lums?).
And, when I was playing the GBA version of Rayman 3, I was in the stage called "Creeping Chaos" and I was climbing on a web. Suddenly, the camera moved to the right to reveal a giant tarantula and, being an arachnophobic, I literally screamed and dropped the GBA.

when i was a kid i played rayman 2 on the ps1the cave of the bad dreams was one of the scariest and hardest level i ever played,for some reason the makes me remind of silent hill at this time and i hated the enemies of that level because when i get eated by that 1eye ball monsters. I turn off the game and get nightmares with them
