I somewhat prefer them as raisins myself actually. I like raisins by themselves though, it bothers me when it's inside something. The Jonster wrote: Sat Aug 30, 2025 2:12 pm Grapes are pretty nice too. Is it weird that i prefer them as raisins?

Oh hey Aaron!
Yeah I suppose maybe that's half the reason I'm not too fond of raisins, as an accompanyment they're mid-to-bad.

Well that sounds a bit darker than expectedPirez wrote: Sat Aug 30, 2025 2:31 pmPro tip : always do that, unless you're at work, in which case never do that. Ever.
Summer fruit is definitely top tier! Melons, watermelons, flat peaches...

Re: Favourite fruit?
Oh yeah, completely forgot about those, Watermelons are top tier. I hear those are also apparently good with cheeses as well?
Re: Favourite fruit?
Watermelons are great because you can cut one in 4 and get yourself four meals.
And since watermelon are 96% water, they're only 4% bad for my diet.

Watermelon and cheese? Never heard about it.
Only because you're supposed to have a balanced diet, but I'd eat watermelon/melon and gazpacho for 3-4 months

Re: Favourite fruit?
Watermelons are delicious for sure. I also love mangos, dragonfruit, papayas. But really I only usually eat apples, white grapes and strawberries.

Re: Favourite fruit?
I don't think I've ever eaten a cherry on its own, it's usually as a garnish or accompaniment to a dessert.
Re: Favourite fruit?
I think I exclusively eat cherries when I eat a mon chou cake. They're delicious though don't get me wrong.
It's like how I usually only like carrot when it's in carrot cake. I do cook with carrot though, I just only put them in stews because I kinda hate them on their own.

Ah, now that's a same case with me, I do like carrots as a base for desserts, but on their own they're not particular pleasant to eat, both texturally and tastewise.

Re: Favourite fruit?
I like lots of fruits. I probably can't remember all of them at once. Apples, lemons, cherries, strawberries and kiwis are definitely my favorites. Don't mind bananas every now and then, either.
Re: Favourite fruit?
Kiwis are great. I've never tried durian though and I'm not sure if I wanna

Based on availability: Bananas, tomatoes, grapes, cherries, watermelon...I like lots of fruits, but I probably eat more bananas than anything else. We always seem to have a banana bunch hanging around. (I swear I don't live in the jungle!)

Nah we just didn’t care for apples. I’m still no good at it though.
