My progress is steady - but I've calculated; I only have 30 hours left to complete it (if I have, say, two hours a day to work on it)! This is gonna be close!

Re: Rayman Origins contest sponsored by Ubisoft
Mine is coming along nicely... though I have only one character coloured in, the sky (with R2 styled clouds) is done and the rocky wall that I'm making is coming along nicely...

30 hours is many. I'm sure you'll make it. I do mine in roughly 3 hours.
Re: Rayman Origins contest sponsored by Ubisoft
Man, you people sure want to win.
Re: Rayman Origins contest sponsored by Ubisoft
It's a copy of the game! Of course we want to win!!
I won't even care for which console it will be. Though I'd preder 3DS as that's the only one I have. Won't mind spending my birthday money on a console if it's something else though.

Only on a small 3DS screen? You should know how much the size of a screen matter!Spanex wrote:It's a copy of the game! Of course we want to win!!

Buying the game doesn't really matter to me, I enough money.
Re: Rayman Origins contest sponsored by Ubisoft
I don't see the problem of wanting the 3DS version.
Re: Rayman Origins contest sponsored by Ubisoft
It's just my opinion of course. But, I just thought that Rayman 1 looked amazing when I played it on a widescreen TV instead of a GBA or DSi.Haruka wrote:I don't see the problem of wanting the 3DS version.
Re: Rayman Origins contest sponsored by Ubisoft
Of course. But I have the 3DS so I wouldn't mind being able to take the game with me anywhere I go!
Re: Rayman Origins contest sponsored by Ubisoft
Yeah, 3DS is a good hand held. November and December will be the months where I waste all the money that I save up every year.Spanex wrote:Of course. But I have the 3DS so I wouldn't mind being able to take the game with me anywhere I go!
Re: Rayman Origins contest sponsored by Ubisoft
Exactly. I also have intention in earning the 3DS version anyday precisely for that.Spanex wrote:Of course. But I have the 3DS so I wouldn't mind being able to take the game with me anywhere I go!

hm... I never considered that. Sadly my drawing skills aren't the best.Haruka wrote:Exactly. I also have intention in earning the 3DS version anyday precisely for that.Spanex wrote:Of course. But I have the 3DS so I wouldn't mind being able to take the game with me anywhere I go!
Re: Rayman Origins contest sponsored by Ubisoft
But obviously if there will be a PC version I will be getting that one.
Re: Rayman Origins contest sponsored by Ubisoft
I wished they make a Collector's Edition for PC. It was prematurely revealed few days ago there will be a Collector's Edition for PS3 and Xbox 360 owners. I wonder if in this contest, winners can choose one.

I really want a Wii version!Haruka wrote:I wished they make a Collector's Edition for PC. It was prematurely revealed few days ago there will be a Collector's Edition for PS3 and Xbox 360 owners. I wonder if in this contest, winners can choose one.
Re: Rayman Origins contest sponsored by Ubisoft
Unfortuneatly the Wii version will have only the regular edition. The priviledgiated ones are the HD console owners afterall: bonuses and HDMI.

F*ck HD! Let's all go back to making boring Game and Watch games.Haruka wrote:Unfortuneatly the Wii version will have only the regular edition. The priviledgiated ones are the HD console owners afterall: bonuses and HDMI.

Wait, they're including a cable?Haruka wrote:Unfortuneatly the Wii version will have only the regular edition. The priviledgiated ones are the HD console owners afterall: bonuses and HDMI.
Re: Rayman Origins contest sponsored by Ubisoft
Not a cable.
What I wanted to mean is that the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions have high definition, while Wii doesn't.
Knowing that I have a big widescreen TV with a spare HDMI entrance and a spare HDMI cable, it is very tempting to buy an Xbox.

Hah, I would appreciate it if they actually included a cable. :'D I've had to buy a new HDMI cable 4 times in just one year.. guess I'm just that good at breaking things.
(Oh and I've begun sketching my contest entry now!)
