Yep, I think I discovered it in DC files, but most of DC textures weren't drecrypted

On top of the artwork itself, we recently found some text that could further support the Rayman x Ly thing - which I'm quite a fan of - which was supposed to have been dialogue text but isn't present in the final version of the game. Funny how they left it in though.

Ahaha, Rayman X Ly is my NOTP. In other words, I never did like that pairing at all. Heh.

Ah, the thing I always loved about the Rayman 2 era was them never feeling the need to make him look eccentric or any less than human in every frame, contrary to most other mascots of the time. That drawing, especially with the addition of the ripped sail hanging peacefully now, is just gorgeous.

I don't dislike the pairing but I am not huge fan either. To me, it is just hard to imagine Rayman being in relationship with anyone. His true personality is revealed in RO and RL and I just can't imagine him being serious about love in any way.

I can picture it, probably as a very personal relationship. Just look at that picture, how can anyone say that that isn't a face of genuine bliss? The way I see it, given that there's no evidence within his personality to suppress the possibility that the relationship could really be (I don't consider his "personality" in Origins to be an extension of his personality in Rayman 2, they share nothing in common and can't work together without extensive headcanoning), if he's able to look the way he does in the drawing, it should be very believable.

I am curious about that DC texture you guys are talking about.

Concerning the artwork, I personally like the feel it gives to the viewer.

Not just DC, it's in the PC version among the loading screens too.

I think Rayman from Rayman 3 is the most human-like Rayman, and Rayman 1 Rayman is the most cartoonish.

Rayman 2's however is like in the middle, and to see him with that face just... CREEPS ME OUT...

He just looks angry goddamnit, not creepy, his reaction is pretty much like
"WHERE THE HECK IS MY RAYMAN 4?!"

Ah, that texture! I remember to see it before. I also remember now the artwork you are talking about.

I was talking about the artwork posted on the previous page, what GOT4N said has nothing to do with it.
