Personally, I don't think it would be used as much, as smileys like ' ' will always be substitued.

oh. but why not, i mean, some of the smileys we do have are completely useless.

and then there are lots of happy smiling ones: they all mean the same thing!!!

I think the green one is meant to be more happier than the yellows.
