I won't wait for the price dropping, I'll just buy it in the release date.
I already have 50€ saved up in my crocodile-bank, so all I need now is to wait. I'm just worried about the usual problem of the delay of the releases of Ubisoft's games that usually happens to ECOFILMES, so in a month before a confirmed release date I'll "poison" up FNAC, Media Markt among other shops to ask them if they can guarantee me they'll have the game in that day. If they accept pre-orders that's fantastic.

To be honest, I'm not even sure Polish Media Markt would distribute this game. I'm definitely going with some sneaky Polish online retailer.
That said, is anything known about quality of Wii version? I don't want to buy a new system when we already have announcements of "next-next-gen" console, and prices don't help me too much either.

Im in the same situation. I hid 50$ in a jar and my brother hid it somewhere in the house so I don't get urges and spend it (On Pokemon stuff. or a new game)

I can guarantee you that the Wii version would be amazing until you see the 360 and PS3 version. These things don't actually matter unless you intentionally dig into them.
I can say I won't have any money issues since I'm working a lot in the summer, but my problem would be where to buy it. The only way I can buy it is through ebay, so here's hoping a store will offer a pre-order.

I currently only have an SD TV in my room and my PS3 doesn't exactly look sharp on it, so hopefully I'd like to be able to get a HD TV sometime around getting Origins.

We’ve all been looking at the PS3/360 version for over a year now. Oh yes, these things matter.

I have a Full HD television in my living room, but no PS3/Xbox 360. I guess we are equal.

I'm gonna buy a new HD TV as well as a lot of related stuff (multimedia hard drive, PLC plugs, HDMI wires, analog converters, etc.), compared to which the price of a game is just laughable, so I don't really care...

It depends of the televisions and how old are the models too. The LED Full HD ones are the best. It would be delicious playing RO in a HD console with a LED Full HD big widescreen TV (mine isn't LED unfortuneatly).

Ok, I see I can beat all of you. I don't have a TV.
My Wii is plugged into old 1024x768 monitor thru a TV tuner.

I have an old TV, about 15 Inches, with one of those round screens (don't know how they're called), to which a Wii is plugged. The TV in my living room is even smaller, but my brother has an LCD 32 inch screen in his room, so I guess when I'll want to feast on RO's visuals, I'll plug the Wii there.
Back to the topic, I think we have a big reason to believe that the known playable characters are not the only ones- In the E3 booth, they showed samples of levels and in the showcase, these were even shorter. If they have more playable characters, and even more if those characters are unlockable, then they wouldn't have put them in the demo, would they?

A few bits of new information in here. Seems like you'll unlock something along the way that explains the backgrounds story of the game. Probably a throwback to the Knowledge of the World in Rayman 2.

Yeah, that's what I'm buying. I think I'll go with a 42".

And I still find it odd that they're not doing a PC release.. Because if not PC then what will the ubiart framework be released on then? Im pretty sure they promised open source...
Or can a standard pc not handle 1080p at 60fps? Is that the main issue, that it will lag?
