There have been many pettitions and despite that, Google has been ignoring us the users because as long as a big YouTube channels that give them money don't mind, they will put shitty layout and force shitty products. Some people told me that they do not see the message I showed on video so it seems they are trying to force me because I have partnership.

I don't care if they change the design, so long as they're good changes. Everything to do with the One channel layout is absolutely terrible and should be deported from the Universe.

Concurred, I don't mind change for the better, but this is just sterilisation. Customisability and individuality of channels used to be a big thing, the way they've reduced that over the years almost seems condescending, as if they can't trust us to come up with decent looks for our own channels, and thus force ineffective and soulless designs in their place.

Yeah the whole idea of a "channel" is gone for me. It's more just a homepage. In my opinion the second layout was perfect because it had a better design but still allowed plenty customisation. Enough customisation to completely change the look of things. I liked to frequently update my background, modify the text a little, shove some things around. Now I just kinda put a banner up there to have one.

I don't mind the One Channel design that much. The only thing I criticize is they always link a Google plus account to your Youtube. What a load of bullshit.

I would have no issue with One Channel design if they allowed me background instead of white emptyness.

He only forgot Pac-Man but I did not want to tell him since he worked really hard on this one as well, but he did told me he will improve and add more characters when vacation starts. Sadly, YouTube ruined this for me with removing background.

Oh I love those BG's OCG. Had I stumbled across your channel a few years back I'd probably have spammed you with how badass your channel looked. One thing that backgrounds really added was a community feel. All those backgrounds showing off people's favourite video games or artists were really neat. I also liked to change mine for Christmas, Halloween etc.

I just miss that feeling as a whole. The channel descriptions people had (I remember Ad having some funny shit in it) and comments not being on a separate tab. Even YouTube Partners don't feel special now. Remember when they had banners above their channel and got also those fucking awesome features on their channel?

Weird, when I put my old account username in there I saw the background I had back then, some Naruto thing. Though when I accidentally refreshed the background disappeared, I should have taken a screenshot.

edit: I tried that thing with my second oldest deviantart account to way back in 2011 and I want to punch myself in the face because of what I was saying. At least I had a decent English.
