OTP stands for One True Pairing; basically, it’s the only ship you deem correct, in place of all others.
It’s a bit of an old term, so it doesn’t get much used anymore, and “ship” is used more instead, since it doesn’t have that “my ship is right and yours is wrong” definition.

I think Pogoster is my OTP. No other ships beat it.

Explain to me the difference between OTP/shipping and just having waifus? Cause I got loads of those but I've never been shipped before.

I mean, if you are attracted to a certain character, and imagine them being together with you, then that counts as selfshipping/yumeshipping, i’m pretty sure?
Shipping is just liking a certain relationship, no matter if its in a platonic/romantic/sexual/etc sense… But when people use “ship”, they usually mean it in a romantic sense, so here’s that.
