On Monday, I shall be going away on a school trip. Until Wednesday. To the Burren. Which is a limestony place.

To be brutally honest I dread all kinds of school trips. I'd just hate to be away for so long.

I've been on 3 school trips like that. All of them were hell, although the London one wasn't that bad, apart from the fact that I had blisters

I quite agree.
I've been avoiding this so far but next time I'm forced to go on some gay geography trip it'll be a no.

I don't like the ones where you have to pay to go, but having days off for no reason, well, it explains itself.

School trips are way better than courses in my opinion

Senior trips are even better though. I am so pumped for mine next year.
Every year during Spring break, the seniors go to Mexico because the drinking age is 18, and in the US its 21.

It's 16 in France, even better

But yeah, school trips are always better when you have more freedom

It's all freedom, just planned by the seniors, not by the school.

I'm back!
When we arrived we went kayaking, and it was kind of fun, but cold...
Then we went rock climbing, which was...hm, alright. Though we didn't really do anything.
Then we went to bed and I waited several hours for the other guys I was sharing a room with to go to stop talking, and I got some sleep.
Next morning, we went caving. Caves are cool. I enjoyed that part.
Then we went hill walking. That is, we walked up a massive hill mountain thing covered in rocks, and it took us 2 or 3 hours and I'd say at least 10 miles. And I sprained both my ankles around the halfway point, which was just the icing on the cake.
Then we went to bed, and the guys kept sneaking in and out the emergency exit till 2:30 AM-ish. Then I slept.
Next morning, we went to another cave, which was much wetter.
Then we got on the bus and went back to the school.
Then I called my father and he drove to the school and picked me up.
Then I went upstairs and took the laptop.
And started posting on PC.
Overall: Meh.

Have you really been gone for two weeks? It seems like less than that.
