The graphics and music and all were great its just how hard it is
Same here.spiraldoor wrote:I’ve been playing R1 for so long (11+ years) that I now find it very easy.
Currently on Mr. Stone's boss battle, but taking a break for a little bit. Boss battles can be so frustrating some times, and this goes for any game. At least they are kind enough to put a Power-up at the beginningRulez wrote:This reminds me I have to start Blue Mountains now.
Brrrr...
Hmm that's funny - because of Rayman 2 and Rayman GBC I automatically do this with any Rayman game. I just assume you can cancel his helicopter, and usually (not in R3 for example - but the whole helicopter system is different there) this is the case.spiraldoor wrote:The most important tip I can give you is that you can cancel Rayman’s helicopter by pressing the jump button a third time (or punching).
Though the helicopter can be cancelled by releasing the button.Shrooblord wrote: (not in R3 for example - but the whole helicopter system is different there)
Yes that's what I meant with the different system.Master4lyf1 wrote:Though the helicopter can be cancelled by releasing the button.Shrooblord wrote: (not in R3 for example - but the whole helicopter system is different there)
Oh that's a quite well-noticed little fact you've got there. And no, don't be ashamed of concucting all kinds of theories about the Rayman universe - it's what we fans love doing most!THEdragon wrote:Hhhm, I know this seems a bit random, but has anyone else wondered why the sprite of the musician's child has purple-ish hair like it's mother, while in the credits artwork it has brown hair? Was the kid in the boat with Bzzit not the musician's child (Although the wiki says it is) or could he actually have two children (Possible when I think about it)? I feel silly for thinking so deeply into these things.![]()
There's loads of colouring and drawing issues like this in the game. I think it just depends on the artist that drew/coloured each picture. Other noticeable ones include The Magician and Mr. Dark's inconsistent blue/purple colour scheme and the disappearing leaf neckerchief on Tarayzan. I wouldn't think to far into it. I'm pretty sure it's the same childTHEdragon wrote:Hhhm, I know this seems a bit random, but has anyone else wondered why the sprite of the musician's child has purple-ish hair like it's mother, while in the credits artwork it has brown hair? .
This is just:L0LPhoenixan wrote:1.) I thought that was because Mr. Dark was surrounding you in FIRE and he was trying to kill you! XD He says that as you're being surrounded and the flames narrow.Drolpiraat wrote:1. On the end of the game Mr. Dark says 'You're doomed, Rayman!' Where is that for? Maybe it has something to do with Rayman who disappears in that land and appears in the Glade of Dreams!
2. And there are no Electoons in Candy Chateau; Then how can they free Rayman from the fire and bring him his fist?
3. In this game Rayman already HAVES the power of the leptys ( see ray3 ) but he cannot use them?
2.) I always thought they just traveled there and freed him as a thanks for him freeing them.
3.) R3 is a messed up game. XD It's not neccessarily a "Power of the Leptys" though.. it's more like.. a silly face Rayman makes to scare people off. XD
And I have all the music from the game too...If you put in the R1 disk (with the PC version) and open Media Player, you can simply listen to all the tracks right there. XD
