Well it's a rounded block with a texture on it. There isn't much "work in progress" to show off here. Chamfer box -> apply texture. However judging by your picture you didn't use a chamfer box.

Yours has too many polys in unnecessary places.

I meant your mesh is too complex. It shouldn't be any more complex than this:
Though I like your second version a lot more.

Well that's interesting. Lets see how it looks on the eraser.

Keep in mind the textures should be squares (1:1 ratio).

You might want to make the texture loopable/repeatable. It also needs more blue. The white/yellow dots are much smaller and less dense than in your texture.

Try this:
Use the MapScaler modifier to remove the stretched look of the texture on the object.

It's alright.

Though I think this really needs a smoothing modifier for it to look any good.
