I my opinion, I think music is a great thing. I mean, just imagine a world without music. It would be so plain and bland that I would not be able to live a normal life. Music plays an impotant role in all places of life.

I agree. and you get so much satisfaction when you learn a new piece, or write something new.

I haven't written anything yet, but I have many ideas of chord progressions, and melodies for my music.

I've written two main riffs, a lot of power chords progressions, and one solo so far. I also learn a ton of new stuff.

Like I said, I haven't really written anything yet. With Piano songs and with all instruments, but Piano especially, you have to come up with a decent structure for your work. When writng a song, you have to consider what key you will be playing in, and then you have to think about what chords would fit into that particular kay and then work on that. Then you have to think about the melody, is it going to be played on the piano, or is someone going to sing it or will someone play it on a different instrument?. Once you have considered these things and ordered your Intro verses, chorus, bridge and other Elements to song structures to your work, you will then be able to play your newly written song with confidence. It is no use just thiniking of a tune and then being able to play it instantly, you have to think very long and hard about these things. I have been playing Piano for about 5 years now and I have had tunes in my head for about 4 years, but I have had to think about them and their structure and order. I have now thought of my tune and melody and I will be working on it for maybe a few weeks possibly months until I have came up with the perfect song that sounds good to me, and for other people to hear and engoy my musical creativity.

I write everything in A, and sometimes E, both Major and minor, so it's really easy to categorize. I could do other keys, but they're the easiest to play on the guitar. And for structure, I figure that out later.
