It's quite surprising how far down Yahoo has come, I remember when I was a young 'un, and they were as big a name as Google, and now they're pretty much a speck of dust in comparison.

Yet, I find them to have the next best messenger program (in terms of layout), to MSN Messenger when it was dominant. Now with Skype, I prefer Yahoo's messenger better. Though it certainly has its flaws.

Google's instant messaging program is pretty basic as it gets. Though I still occasionally use it to communicate with a couple friends.

I never had a Yahoo account, it was always MSN, Messenger was great back in those days, compact yet effective, pity things went awry as time went on with Windows Live.

I think the major problem with Youtube these days is that they are practically a monopoly when it comes to video sites, since everyone is on there. Competition, on the other hand, usually breeds quality.

Ugh I had to get a Yahoo email so I could use Flickr which I ended up abandoning anyway for Tumblr. I just use my Yahoo to log into Facebook now as well as being a spare for if I lose passwords.

RollerCoaster Tycoon 4 has been officially announced and a short trailer has been released. After ten years, the still large fanbase of the Tycoon trilogy is finally getting exactly what they've been wishing for. Clearly, the masterful 3DS game that managed to bring the series back with it's new feature of making the game worse than the rip-offs of it's own franchise, proved that this could only be a successful project, and it is! Yes Atari, a mobile phone game that makes you pay money in a Farmville manner, that is what we truly wanted to see you come back with.

Jokes aside, I don't get how a company that's already doing so poorly can manage to fuck up their biggest franchise so badly twice. Now, there is a "PC experience" promised, but if it's anything like the mobile game it's going to be nothing more than an inferior, bland attempt at recreating the original game. Seriously, it looks fucking horrible. And seeing as there's the silly "pay 25 cents to place this thing!" method put in, I'm willing to bet the PC experience will just be a Facebook game.

Sorry to inform you but I will never stop stretching videos, I hate black bars. Sorry but I cannot play the game good if I set aspect ratio with 4:3. Black bars are distracting me and ruining my view of the game. But I would always select widescreen option if it is avalible in game.

You hate black bars, I hate stretching. Some of my videos are at 5:4 and I’m okay with that even though I have a 16:9 display. If a game has a widescreen option then it’s okay because it looks correct.

Personally I just scale any videos I record up to 720P for the sake of a decent size yet retaining decent quality on youtube. (Since the native resolution I record at is 720 x 400.). Though I wouldn't force a stretch to a wide screen resolution, that just makes things feel odd to me. Again my personal preferences.

Also Fifo, just ordering someone like that can come across as being rude. Make it sound more like a request or suggestion, and OCG probably will consider it and let you know how he feels about it. I mean of course you have your right to your opinion but there are plenty of ways to go about giving it with out sounding rude or sounding rather bossy.

720 x 400 is close to 16:9, it’s okay.

So you do, and you're not the only one to have raised your opposition, but, at the end of the day, OCG's videos are OCG's videos, the ultimate preference for aspect ratio is his, pestering him like that is only going to draw ire and annoyance.

I see it more as "adapting" them to fit the whole screen instead of how you said "ruining".
But like Master said, everyone has different opinions. I am not really happy that Omar stopped stretching his videos, I told him that once but I do know that it is his choice and I need to accept it.

I know that it fits the whole screen. I like the fact that Omar’s videos are not stretched anymore. I will never be stretching videos to 16:9.

Well it never stretched still, simple scaling adjustment. Though I wouldn't have stretched it. I do 180% scaling to make it work. So almost double.
