We have tons of rooks. But now and then there's a big fat crow between them. Even though they're relatives, you can see a clear difference.
I mentioned it to my teacher and he said there will be some updates done to the computers. I don't think they'll buy am extra hard disk for them so fast but at least I cleared up 11gb of unused data. Why the hell does Firefox remember history here? Cookies should not be eating space, THEY WERE MEANT TO BE EATEN. Oomnomnomnom

The beak is a major distinction.

11 fucking gigabytes of cookies? Holy shit, this makes me flabbergasted.

This pun could be the death of me.

Anyway, I managed to get 3DS installed on the computer. Though I decided to go ahead and give the entire drive a good checkup. But this makes things incredibly slow. 3DS Max seems to run here no problem. There was just no room at first. 40gb space nowadays is just...nothing!
Luckily for us, we have a 1TB portable drive connected to every computer in this room. But this is where most of the customer files go.

Well that's a handy technique! I never thought of using an external drive to bridge multiple computers.

Since this is a school teaching students the normal ways of a business/factory, the drive is only for safekeeping files we made for our customers. So that leaves a lot of room for the other drives.
But, STILL, 40GB is way too small to have Adobe Master Collection CS4 (soon to be CS5) on it, along with Windows and other essential programs. I wonder if they'll take my advice for an extra drive into consideration.
(I think I should continue on that Indesign assignment now)

One more question Rayfan, Have you design any cover for this future game?

I've got a new keyboard now. From Logitech. It's wireless and quite compact, but it types very comfortably, makes very little noise when typing and I have one less wire to worry about. It's actually the first time I use a wireless keyboard and I feel like I need time getting used to it.
Anyway, I found this book about "Fallout 2 for dummies" that explains about textures, bumpmaps and speculars. I saved the link to Google Books so I can read it later today. But I'm pretty worn right now. Think I'll relax for a bit and watch Monster House.
Edit: I drew Rhook.
Edit2: Oh, crap. That's a bit too huge, I changed it now.

Out of curiosity have you thought of a name for my character yet? And can I come up with what happens during the battles?

Amazing Panex! I like every part of the design, except I have a few comments on the face. Can you make the face look similar to what it does in my picture? With the bigger head and oversized crooked beak? He looks a bit too "lively" in your picture, he should have more of an old and rugged appearance, of course with the details I just mentioned.
R3fan2 wrote:Out of curiosity have you thought of a name for my character yet? And can I come up with what happens during the battles?
I've been thinking about it actually, and I have yet to come up with a name.
You can offer suggestions for some of the battle aspects, and I'll approve/deny/modify them.

I have an idea for the first battle. First rayman falls through a weak floor which leads to a large room with no way out and a hexagonal trap door in the middle of the floor. Then rayman hears a voice over of razorbeard telling him that his quest has come to an end. The trap door opens and the robot grolem rises out of it and the battle starts. After defeating him the force throws him into the wall on his side crushing his arm. In rage he attacks rayman starting a second battle. after defeating him again he once again slams into the wall only this time going right through it. Rayman jumps through the hole and notices two things. First the robot grolem is nowhere to be seen. Second there is a latter leading out of there and back to where he was before.

Hm, perhaps I'll take some of those, such as the way he's beaten, getting blasted through the hull of the ship. in the Prison Ship battle however I don't wish to have the battle take place in an enclosed room, I'll save that for the Shadow Factory. For the Prison Ship I'll have him and Rayman duking it out in many different coorridors of the ship.

Amazing. A job well done!
Hmm, so, bigger head, crooked beak, older look. I can do that. I'll go ahead and sketch something quick right now. I haven't begun on your request yet though. I'm having some difficulty with other time consuming things. Next week I will have a holiday, I can do it then. Kind of sucks that I will have my surgery on that same holiday too. I'm getting pretty nervous about it.
Huh...I think I lost my Rayman 3 model with the nearly finished hair...
Damn, I DID lose it. I worked so hard on that hair, too.

Crap Spanex! You lost your Rayman 3 model? SH*$. (I'm sorry if this sounds as sarcasm, but it isn't.) About the shoes, they're great- but I think they're a little too tall and not long enough. Anyways, I have something to add onto R3Fan2's idea. How you said they'd battle through a series of corridors, etc, well, we could have Rayman blasting the Grolem through a few walls, the last being one with a few cages in it. he blasts through the hull, and Moskito's cage falls out with the Grolem. When Rayman looks out thehole he doesn't see the grolem (As R3Fan2 stated), but he does see Moskito's cage falling through the air. Queue search through Glassdrop Grove for Moskito.

You lost your model? I've done that before, it makes you really, really annoyed until you just decide to do it over again. Then the second time it's three times as good.
What surgery are you having?

Ooh, I like this idea very much. Star-shaped sticker for you.

Thank god not the ENTIRE model. I apparently overwrote it with a less up-to-date one from my USB stick, while I meant to do the opposite. He's just bald now. <__>
But it really sucks, because I really put effort in that hair. *sigh* Well, maybe I'll do better this time. Just take my advice in this...always double check the last date an important file was changed. Or...don't always try to transfer it on an USB so you can take it with you. I confused the folders and now I screwed up.
Rhook will have to wait, I'm going to try and fix Rayman's hair before I lose my mood.
@ Rayfan: I think I mentioned it too many times, but, I have to get my wisdom teeth cut out. All of them.

That's alright, I'm in no rush.
Ouch, wisdom teeth. My brother had to do that. He said it doesn't hurt too much, but your mouth stays swollen for a while.
