I think that Barabara trailer is the last one I'll watch from now on. Shun spoiler powers, activate!

I hardly think the Barabara trailer was a spoiler. Though I kind of wish I hadn't watched it, becuse it was mind of sucky in my opinion.
We shall see though. I hope the game feels real lush, not in the Origins way.

All I can smell rn is that plant my sister's given me long time ago. It's blooming and its flowers are cute, but the smell is unbearable.
... oh. I get it. That'd be great to see some more information about game (it seems I won't buy it - not right now, fo' sure - so I ain't afraid of no spoilers

).

The two things I want to avoid from trailers and spoilers are getting too hyped up for something that's not worth hyping up for and being spoilt so much that I already know what'll happen or what everything will look like. For the rest, I kind of like getting a few sneak peaks - though usually I only look at those after I've seen the actual product... which makes an awful lot of sense, I know.

Responses to recent discussions:
-I liked RO a lot; art style, detail, references to past games, fighting moves, difficulty, handful of the music. Comprehending the story hurt my head and was one of the bad things about the game. Had to sum it up as "shit happened, Rayman's gotta stop it from getting worse."
-45/55 on Barbara. She's not ruining the game but I'm not excited for her. Music in the trailer was whatever to me.
-I have a quota about trailers for upcoming games. Being spoiled sucks and I never want to ruin it for myself again. I'm glad I didn't do that with Origins.
EDIT: I looked at the Barbara trailer again and realized some things:
-Barbara has wings on her hat that probably let her glide.
-Some lividstones hold wooden "shields" so you might have to attack from a certain angle.

I'm not. While my favorite genres are rock and blues, I don't believe this soundtrack is promising.

Well... in my case, I used to play Rayman Origins with all my friends except for a female (and kinda tomboy) friend I have, she doesn't like platformers at all, she thinks she sucks at them. Then she wanted to try it, and she asked if they had any female character... I showed her Teensette, and she just said "Seriosly? woah, any other female character that doesn't wear pink or look like a transvestite?" "ehm... nope" "*sigh* do you have any other character?" "ehm... we have Globox""Fuck you". She's the kind of girl who likes to play as "the badass female character" in videogames, I guess she will finally try the game with Barbara.

Ive stopped watching the Last Of Us trailers/gameplay due to this, uncharted 3 got me so hyped by watching all the trailers etc that in the end I was disappointed overall due to me seeing alot of the "wow factor sequences" trying to do it with legends too but I just cant get myself to do it atm...

I miss the days when nearly every game I bought i went in not knowing what to expect.

I agree on this statement. I'm much of a rock person, but for games it just doesn't fit for me.

Yeah, I like rock much too. But when it comes to games, i think the soundtracks should be exciting/calm etc. Do you know what i mean

I was wondering what you meant, but rock would be, in fact, exciting music. You don't really seem to get the point of why me and a few others wouldn't like rock in Rayman Legends.

I kinda meant the exciting music part for bosses. And even your right that rock is exciting music, it doesnt need to be
all rock. Take the music when the flood on the swamp of forgetfulness and mr sax battle music for an example. Just Saying.

I think rock could fit in certain places like bosses, but when watching the trailer, it seriously looked like a twelve year old added their favourite 80's rock track over something, and it makes me want to request the uploader to upload the video with the original audio.. only to find out that this is the original audio.

Rock does have it's places, I loved Mr. Stone's boss music, I'm not good with musical genres, but I feel that the Rayman series has always employed different styles of music, depending on the situation.

I cant decide what had the superior soundtrack the first or second game.. Both amazing and as you said packed with great variety.
