We did, the screenshots are from Wii U versions for both but that does not mean that they won't make downgraded versions for 3DS

Another thing about the pictures of the two trophies is that both of them are in-game, since the models are on the Smash Bros trophy stand and the background one from the trophy viewer in the game. I don't think they'd release a screen of a prototype, either way.

And while the second trophy model was posted by Ubisoft, it had to have been sent by Sakurai's team, since, again, it's in game. Ubisoft might have both models, but I doubt they have access to a build of Smash Bros to be putting Rayman trophies into it.

He looks pretty nice indeed, definitely not doped, but now he looks demented, his eyes have an empty look to them like he's seen something truly horrifying.

It looks like quite an improvement to me. I don't see a problem with the eyes.

Kind of old news there.

Wait, he came here just to post that, even though those comments were just to cover up their mistake and not a confirmation of anykind. In the video he was talking about playable characters. He wouldn't mention about just a trophy, that doesn't get anyone excited.
There are already megaMANs and pacMANs and a rayMAN trophy reveal, so he might've just made a mistake though..

To be honest, I'm not really holding out for Rayman being in the vanilla game. Maybe as DLC, but not on release. And this is why:

There is a screenshot on the back, with Sonic, Mega Man, and Pac-Man, saying "Guest characters join the fight!".

If Rayman was playable in the game on release, I feel like he would be there.

Sonic and Snake were both locked characters in Brawl, yet were still heavily advertised and also showed up on the back of Brawl's box art.

A lot of people reckon the same will be true for third parties again, actually (though I want Sonic to at least be a starter, personally).

Again, I think he's just a trophy at this point, unless he makes it as DLC. There's really no reason why he wouldn't be on the back of the box if he was playable.
