Hey! While the menu music is on its way, I had time to make... a brand new level!
It's a speed run level that you'll be able to play (+ the sandbox level... wow 2 BONUS levels actually

) only if you collect the maximum tings in the first dream forest level. Then, if you don't reach the end sign before the end of the timer, game over
So here it is, Rayman has to run at lightspeed under the rainy forest... I hope you'll enjoy

Hmm, a sort of mix between Rayman 1's Magician levels and Rayman 2's Ly Races. Lots of precision platforming too, and you've implemented a timer to boot. You're progressing along quite nicely, keep it up!

Hey Lucky3, what other worlds is this game going to include? All of the ones from R1 or are you going to create new ones too?

Raymanni: Nothing is planned. I don't want to be too ambitious. It would be too risky since Ubi Soft can ask me anytime to stop the project (or at least publishing it here). Some nintendo fan game have been canceled because of this.

Nintendo is completely different than Ubisoft, I'd say. Just look at the other fangames and even Adsolution's huge game. I don't think Ubisoft cares too much since they are just fan projects and nobody is making money with them.

I hope you're right.
But Rayman ROTD is not released yet, this may be the reason. Nintendo didn't like Mario HD 64 wich was released and playable online.

ROTD is pretty much like Half-Life 3 you know, the project itself is dead and only speculations and rumours remains, so it is not a good example.

As far as I know, he may release a demo next year. Would be too bad if the project was canceled> So much great work in this! But the amount of work to complete a game like this is terrible for the very small team they are (if i'm not mistaken he makes 90% of the game on his own).

So here it is, I'm very happy with the work done so far. Best team ever! Kudos to all the guys involved in it and for your supports fellow rayman pc members!
I hope you'll enjoy!

So what you can essentially expect in this new beta:
-2 complete playable levels, you'll have to get the high score in the first level to unlock the next ones
-Hopefully not to many bugs?
-The sandbox test level
-Rayman

-The story plot
-A short intro cut scene
-Debug console disabled
What you cannot expect:
-A full final next-gen very hype game with unicorns and rainbows
-Straffing motion for rayman
-sausages
-A perfect camera system
-Zero bugs
-and much more!...
