Well in that case, I'll go with the non-PAL version too.

Considering that the purpose of box-art back in the day was to attract the attention of uninformed potential players, I'd argue you might be in a better (or at the very least, a more unique) position to judge, as you've got no set idea on what the games are about.

I'd say the Japanese versions of these games are much, much better than the PAL/NTSC-U versions.

It's definitely easier to vote here, specially when it isn't required to play/like these games

Anyway, any ideas for the next one?
These game series are a great example for this poll, since most of those games have different box arts, but I'd prefer going with another game this time...

Our next game is Crash Bash, and you'll have to vote between PAL (I think it's the same for NTSC-U?) and NTSC-J.

And of course, the results from the previous one. Clear victory this time

I think the PAL version looks more intense and shows better the competition aspect of the game. The NTSC-U version looks like something aimed at a younger audience (also Crash's head is bigger for some reason).

NTSC-J! It has a 3D model which reminds me of… nevermind.

In all honesty, I go for NTSC-J because I like the writing and all the neat 3D models packed together.

I’d say the PAL version, Crash on a pogo stick bouncing away from a big spiky ball is just so on brand.

PAL, because the NTSC-J version looks more like art that belongs on a soda can to me.

No, there aren't differences. When I said the PAL version isn't good enough, I mean the box art

Showing a bias, but it's one of the more starker differences when it comes to boxart and I suspect not many folks here are too familiar with the game itself so it'd be interesting to hear an outside perspective.

yes actually. the first black label PAL version has cheats to unlock every mini game, but not any other versions. Including the green label. Im not sure why they patched the cheats, as you can find a almost complete version of the game on a GameCube Spyro game.

Also I'm okay with Masters option!
