I'm sorry I couldn't determine the problems you having. Do you maybe use Windows 8? But try first to completely deleting the Rayman Mega Patch folder and reinstall v1.20 .

I have some good news and some bad news:
Good news first: I found the problem causing crash in Bongo Hills in Rayman 1 and I can fix it by using the most working version, but
Bas news following: so far from my collection the most working Rayman version is US v1.21 which is included in GoG's Rayman Forever and in my Rayman Gold has only english and can't be changed, ...
I am playing with the files now to see if I can still use the european version and replace the broken file/s

That's strange, since my US copy of Rayman works in English, German, and French. I have the original version, though. But as far as I knew, the only difference between the two were the different cheat codes.

I bet your version is US v1.12, that is no better from EU v1.12.
To find out which Rayman version is on your disc just drag&drop RAYMAN.EXE from your CD to DosBox and whatch the line at the top. If it says US v1.21 then you my friend will be my hereo!
EDIT: Forget it, I didn't give that fast up and found a better solution

expect v1.20-r1 . Why -r1? Because it will only fix one problem. You saying that there is another one in Rayman 60 Levels.

Wow these are really great! However 5 cages can be broken at the first time you play Anguish Lagoon, not just 4.

On the last level in Swamps of Forgetfulness the one cage can be also reached but it's very hard and almost unmadeable. I did it just 1 time.

Thanks!

I know you can get that one cage in Anguish Lagoon, but you go that way when you have to backtrack, and it's much easier to just get it then. I think I'll put in an annotation about it.

I got that cage, though.

It's a pain in the ass to get, but it's worth it to not have to backtrack, in my eyes. The trick is to jump and then hover as the fruit is swinging over to you.

Without the helicopter? Well that's insane.

Unfortunately, I accidentally deleted the Eraser Plains and Pencil Pentathon videos, so I'm going to have to run those again using the raylives, alworld, and power cheats. I tried to recover the deleted videos and overwritten save files, but no such luck there. This is the only alternative I have is to restart the entire walkthrough, so sorry.

Oh my, that's quite a bad luck there...

Kinda reminds me what happened with my PS1 remasterization walkthrough. I started the whole game over from scratch before continuing to record. It required extra patience.

Speaking of Walkthroughs, I should make new part soon. Thanks to emshomar's save file I can progress. Hopefully game wont freeze later. I still don't know why it was freezing only for me and not for Raymanni and emshomar.

It kinds of pisses me off how Rayman overwrites your existing save files each time you save your game. If it was possible to revert to a previous save file, then I wouldn't have this problem.

If anyone knows a way to modify the game's save files, please let me know.

Good news guys, I followed your advice of trying out Bandicam and during the recording test, it recorded fine RL without any lag. I'm impressed how this program is much more lighter than FRAPS, I'm totally using Bandicam from now on.

Thank you, guys.
This means I can record videos of the PC version's demo of RL.

Stay tuned.
