Yes you can! The 3DS is backwards compatible towards DS games.

Boy this is awesomeness for 2024!
Maybe I should add the Super Mario RPG remake on my wishlist too along with Super Mario Wonder, Sparks of Hope + DLC, SMB Wii U, the newly announced TTYD remake....

Yeah, they are! With everything from remakes to popular games to a new game for Princess Peach (I think i might have seen an image of her being a swordfighter? wow!), this year seems as usual, pretty great for Mario fans like me!
Which hearing about all these remakes has just made me remember that I haven't played any of my Mario games on Switch in awhile!

The new Peach game did not impress me much, I hoped to have a new platformer like Super Princess Peach for DS that I remember I enjoyed a lot as a kid
But I think I must get that Paper Mario remake!

So you liked that game too! The vibes were so interesting to see on Princess Peach. I guess with this game it focuses on costumes for her?
I loved Super Princess Peach a lot as a kid. Currently my game is in the hands of my cousin but I'd really like to play it again when I get it back

Idk, the trailer made me think this game was too easy compared to Super Princess Peach.
I know that the game mainly is for kids, especially little girls so they have to keep it simple but if I see more of the gameplay I might change idea

Watching the trailer now I can see why you thought that. I’d like to see more of the gameplay myself too before make a decision on whether to buy the game right away, or later down the road.

Yeah! I'll wait for a new trailer that can reveal more about this game, now though I prefer spending my time to save some money to buy the other games that have been announced in that Nintendo Direct.
Also, that Ganondorf Amiibo must be mine!!

Using Amiibos in this game will gift you weapons, shields, materials and fabric for the paraglider, I wonder if the new Amiibos will gift something exclusive

Best of luck finding the Amiibo! I wonder if there is an LOZ topic....guess I'll look for it later after my appointment.
