Steo was banned for wanting to give NTSC a try. It does mean you’d (N)ot get (T)he (S)ame (C)olor through a compos-h-ite video connection.

I know PAL was 50Hz vs NTSC 60Hz but 576p vs 480p. The game being slower in PAL though is what bothers me.

Fifo was banned for calling me out for not having reasons to ban people, yet did it himself a few posts ago.

Composite does have its own charm though.

I’d like to get a VCR someday to be able to record PS1 footage to VHS for that retro look.

Also, yeah, the PAL/NTSC thing is like a two-way fork – PAL has higher vertical resolution (576 lines) & better colo(u)rs but a lower refresh rate (50 Hertz), while NTSC has higher refresh rate (60 Hz) at a tradeoff of having a lower res (480 lines).
