I did like the background, so maybe that's a bit harsh, but the text really bothers me. It's not just the font type or position of the font, it also looks much more contrasty than the background in a way that I don't think fits. The background has more of a smoother softer look, while the text looks rather sharp, with darker darks, and brighter brights, making it stand out a lot in comparison.

With better font I would probably give it an 8 or something.

9/10, very techy and modern with a lovely background and effect on the text. My only problem is that again it's rather bright and there is quite a bit of white on it, it'd be better if you toned down the brightness a bit.
