Rock Simulator exists, I know that.

...Am I the only one who now actually applauds Obscure Simulator games for being actual Simulators, rather than just "LULZ SO RANDUM" crap that's starting to fill up the PC Market?
'Cause even if I am, it depresses me that we're getting to this point.

Really? It's a fresh meme, it only started after Goat Simulator, and there are only a couple of them around, namely because it requires actual game development knowledge to create. I'm not sure what about this is deprecating to society.

Relating these joke-simulators to actual simulators is odd too, since you can clearly see that they serve a completely different purpose. It's like saying "I applaud Donald Duck cartoons for making a comeback, instead of trying to be this Dolan crap" - they have almost nothing to do with eachother, so you can't speak as if they're both Donald Duck cartoons. Joke simulators aren't replacing or overshadowing real simulators by any stretch of the imagination.

So, Mighty Number 9 is getting a shitty TV series and Keiji is asking for $100,000 for full English dub.
I am not happy with those decissions at all.

What's wrong with that? Beck is a charming character, and a lot of people like him. The premise also has potential for an entertaining series.

And $100,000 kinda seems like pocket money compared to the amount of money the Mighty No.9 game kickstarter made.

Seems a bit premature seeing as they've not really established themselves yet, but I guess the more the merrier.

Have you seen trailer for series? They are portraying Beck like a freaking clumsy kid. I was hoping he would have that late-teen attitude, something similar to US Mega Man cartoon. His voice tone is annoying too. And instead of 2D animation like the Day of Sigma was, they are using CGI. CGI is OVERRATED! I can't stand it in modern cartoons. Asking $100,000 for English dub is retarded imo and I won't change my mind. There are people that are willing to to voices for FREE. They are gonna end up hireing people who won't put any emotions for characters and just want money like it is a case for most of the english dubs.
If they want more money, they should invest in something else, like action figures for example, more levels...
I have a strong feeling they won't reach this goal because I seen a lot of people complain that English voices are not even needed and that there are people who would voice act for free.

Yes I saw the trailer. And I think Beck's personality is fine.

If you knew what the story of the game was, Beck is SUPPOSED to be considered weak. In fact this has always been a key theme of Mega Man games - you start off weak, and get stronger as you go. So it's likely that, as a character, Beck will be clumsy at first, and grow to be heroic and strong. You seem to have forgotten "character development" is a thing, and are jumping to conclusions as a result.

And you shouldn't assume the voice actors are greedy just because they are being paid. Maybe very specific people are being considered, whom are talented. Really, making assumptions on that is very pre-mature. Plus, that money doesn't go squarely towards the voice actors themselves. They need to pay for a recording studio, equipment, etc.

He has child's voice, therfore in my book he is another lame character like Ghostly Adventures Pac-Man. I despise kiddy characters. Why can't all be cool and badass like Mario, Sonic, Classic Silent Mega Man Mega Man X, Crash, ect.

I'm more surprised how quickly this Mighty No.9 project is taking off, a cartoon series before the first game even releases? It looks okay, but I'll wait to see more. I seriously wonder what Capcom thinks about this?

On another note, I want to get into the Megaman series, any particular games that are good for newcomers?

OK, so I'll stop myself from going off on a tangent, because I could spin this off into an essay, but I'll just be brief.

None of the characters you listed are solely defined as being badass, and Mario in particular is not badass AT ALL (honestly, whenever Mario ACTUALLY gets charaterisation, which is rare - he's just a jerk of a sore loser - I mean, he fucking gets down on his knees and cries when he gets a Double Bogey in Mario Golf. And he can't let Luigi have a bit of glory in Mario Power Tennis, instead, he tries to humiliate him in a rather pathetic manner - plus, Mario has CANONICALLY BEEN AN ANIMAL ABUSER), except in Smash Bros, where I call him "MarRyu".

Sonic, however, is a multi-layered character, even within the games. He's certainly not defined as bad ass. While he has bad ass moments, he is also really sweet and caring, and is not against helping with the most trivial of tasks, despite his attitude and impatient nature. However, beyond his heroic qualities, he's probably one of the biggest dorks of a character I know (and I mean that in the most affectionate way possible, not as something I dislike). He has a lot of really stupid habits (talking to robots he has destroyed, making cringe-worthy puns, acting before thinking, etc). Oh, and he's really flamboyant:

So yeah, if you like a character as dorky as Sonic, I don't see what's wrong with Beck starting off as a clumsy character.

Not only was your statement hypocritical, but it disregards many appealing and important characteristics of some very beloved characters, giving me a sense that you are ignorant to a lot of things about these characters.

We're talking about fat italian plumbers, cartoon hedgehogs with noodle limbs, and kid robots (Mega Man has the mannerisms of a 10 year old in the games, and this was an intentional choice by Inafune - like it is with Beck) here. Not gruff space marines and edgy anime characters.
On another note, I want to get into the Megaman series, any particular games that are good for newcomers?
Mega Man 2 is by far the easiest of the Classic Series. And Mega Man X is a really accessible game too (and since the X series is strongly story based, it's best to start from the start).

You could also get the Mega Man Zero Collection for the DS if you want to get into that series. Really, it depends on what kind of flavour of Mega Man you want, since each series is very different.
