Didn't we conclude that online in Rayman Arena does not work, or did you found some way to play online?

Online in Rayman Arena definitely works if you create a LAN using a program like Evolve (the Program, not the game). I played a few games against some of the Rayman 3 speedrunners with no issues (well, apart from the game deciding to use the wrong network, but I fixed that using a program that forces the game to go through a certain network).

I'd like to add it also works with GameCube, Dolphin Netplay :mryellow:

I tried out once with Drolpiraat with Hamachi and it did not work. Is Evolve easy to use?

Well, I've never tried evolve, but in a few minutes I'll test Rayman Arena with Dolphin Netplay. I'll then tell if it works, because if yes, the it will be much easier to play online then with the PC version.

Quite easy, yes. You need to just create a party and then give a link which will let other people join it. Then one person creates a session in Arena (of course, making sure that the method is set to LAN in Arena's configuration) and the other people in the party should see it and be able to join. Sometimes various things happen that stop this from working so well (Windows 10 bug with Evolve, Arena using the wrong network, Windows Firewall blocking) but these can all be fixed easily enough. I went online with OCG for a match last night which after fixing those issues worked fine.

Unfortunately Dolphin has system requirements that are likely higher than what some people here can handle. Also, that version is quite different especially if you grew up with M or Arena PC/PS2 versions.

Yes I know, it is different, I've just troed out in singlepayer, but in Europe it is hard to get your hands on a copy of Rayman Arena for PC. But it isn't different that much, so it isn't that bad. So that's why I use the emulated one.

Okay, I've tested the Dolphin Emulator version of the game with hamachi to play online with SpyroGuy, and it worked (but wasn't the best). So, everything was fine, the host set up the game, the players chose their character. And then the race began, and that is where some problems started. First of all, the game lagged. And after a few rounds (maybe in the second round) the two game disconnected from each other, and I saw SpyroGuy's Razorbeard jumping in the same place forever, while I've finished the race. Then I've asked him, what's the matter, and he told that, he also finished the race, and I'm just jumping in the same place. So that is one fatal problem. The two games disconnected, so the race couldn't continue. So that's our experience so far. Please tell me if someone manages to play the game right. (I've used Hamachi, because the port forwarding didn't worked, we couldn't join each others hosted games)

That is why using the PC version is better. Just saying, it works perfectly with the PC version and Evolve.

Yeah, but I don't know from where can I get it. Adsolution's upload is always fail for me when I try to download. Maybe I could order it from Amazon, if they have some.

Okay, I've got the PC version, if someone needs it just send me a PM, because I'm not sure, if I'm allowed to post links here. (Yeah it is Arena not M, and yeah, it is the PC version). Now I'll just see how evolve works.

Alright, I'm getting confused here. How many versions does this game have, ffs?
The ones I'm aware of so far are: Rayman M (same on PC and PS2) Rayman Arena (same on Xbox and GC), but what is this Rayman Arena for the PC? Is it the "M" version with a different title or the GC/Xbox version's PC port?

Actually it is pretty much the same as Rayman M but it's tha USA version, and it also has a LAN option in it's menu. Everything else is the sam as in Rayman M.
