I can think of two, but I'm not sure of the third.

Almost as above; I somehow invented splitting one way into two.

Up in the mountains.... and very high above the ground with mountains in the background (in the VERY beginning of the game)

In which level is it possible to kill one with a keg?

You can kill gorilla pirates with a flying shell! In the third part of Prison Ship Rayman enters an area where crates and pirates can be found on the ground (at this point the shell is already in flight); it is possible to kill these pirates by crash-landing into them. I demand points!
