I did box modeling with my Rayman model.

Box modeling is even mentioned in those tutorials by 3DSMaxHowTos on Youtube.

huh, interesting. The only tutorial video I've watched was how to bridge models, and that was like a ten second video.
Well I did sort of "shape model" Flips, I created each part (arm, hand, head etc) out of simple primitives then mesh-edited with the help of modifiers, so I think I use a hybrid. For Rayman's hair I used a little bit of the blueprint method.
Scarlet pad, I'd started on it, though I forgot. I'll pick it up again.

will to make a long story short that flips model looks like you built it corresponding to the mesh

My first (and lost) attempt at Rayman's hair was made from a box too. D:
But I'm going to try it again; after I finish your request and some games I've been meaning to 100%

Yes, I have! I'm trying out a new painterly method I've used on some personal concept art that turned out really nice. I just need to be careful with the detail, because the image needs to fit in a youtube video, so there will probably be some quality loss.

Don't worry about losing details too much, I can modify it a bit if needed.

Can we see a short WiP of what you have to far? I'm just curious to see where you've started. I won't ask for another WiP shot, just this Of course my request here is purely up to you.

I'm currently just making black silhouettes out of the sketches I made now. This is part of the painting process. I make the 'lineart' by painting the colors on top of the silhouettes. You'll see WIPs later, once it's actually beginning to take shape.

Sounds great! Any idea for an estimation on how long it will take to finish? Sorry for the questions, this is just one of my most anticipated things at the moment.

I hope to finish most of it today. I have an idea for the background but I'm not sure yet how I'll get it done.

I had an idea that I forgot to share: After you 100% the game and finish the last level, Rayman has a flashback to the final fight against Mister Dark which you get to play in full 3D.
