I have to say the GameCube version of Rayman 3 really does do that stupid thing with the sides of the screen when set to 16:9.

If I had known that then I probably would have given up on the Xbox version thinking that's just supposed to happen at the sides but wow, I implemented widescreen in Rayman 3 better than Ubisoft did in 2 of theirs. One because the Xbox didn't even have widescreen and 2 because the GameCube has the edge rendering issue

I have to say here's the real GC hardware in 16:9. Check out the piggy banks and hoodlum at the edges

Yeah I saw it. Very strange for the hardware. :/

I have to find them confusing but manageable if you play for a bit.

I have to find out if PS2 also does that rendering thing though I don't think it does. It's strange if it doesn't though since GameCube does and I managed to figure it out on Xbox

I have to say PS2 doesn't have the issue at all so this is odd

Gamecube has the problem and so did Xbox on my initial patch but I managed to fix it. Makes me wonder if they didn't notice it on GameCube when they tested it.

I have to say look at the edges of the screen and see if there's an "obvious" difference as Rayman is standing in the "exact" same spot
