It's been nice and cool today, although the sudden change of weather has given me a rockin' headache.

It was -2 °C outside this morning. No reason to believe it's increased by any significant amount since then.

6-8°C here.

I'd like any opinions on this, to make sure I'm not alone...
I got my results for a maths test recently, and there was a question that said "what is the value of 7° " or something. What the dicks. I had no idea so I put just 7° and got it wrong. Apparently the degrees symbol was actually a zero, and it was asking what 7^0 was, but it was definately a degrees symbol. It was circular (when another question had an oval shaped zero, like normal) and the line was thicker than other numbers, AND it was in with all the angle questions, when the rest of the indices questions where later.

It's all BS in my opinion.

Thing is, it wasn't even the font. Comparing it with a later question, the degrees symbol was identical. The teachers thought I was overreacting when I got annoyed, even though its part of my bloody GCSE coursework

Huh, I thought they got rid of Coursework for Science and Maths GCSEs, unless you're referring to the practical exercises for Science?

There is still coursework for Science GCSE (or at least triple science). Maybe the test wasn't coursework, but they kept telling us to revise and all that... And then that happens.... :(

If memory serves, weren't they going back to linear courses for GCSE? I remember that there were modular courses in addition to linear when I was doing them, but I do recall hearing about a switch to linear. As for triple sciences, I remember there being graded practical exercises where you were to perform a given experiment in proper manner, and there being a test thereafter, but I don't remember seeing coursework in the traditional sense.

Mind you, it's been almost three years now since I did mine, so perhaps I'm just missing on some changes.

I'm afraid most of the time I have no idea what's going on. Are we having a test? When does the holiday start? Where do I go? Everyone but me seems to know the answer to these types of questions, as I'm never organised and I'm very forgetful. I do, however, distinctly remember hearing "coursework" a lot in science, even non-triple science lessons.

Rain (next to snow) is my favourite weather. Sometimes when I have nothing to do I just run into the rain with just a top and some trousers and get soaked. Is much fun.

I don't really like playing in the snow, but it makes me feel cozy. You can't feel cozy unless it's snowing outside (or if it's just really really cold).
