Well I did indeed find it, but I'm going to be busy for awhile playing Part 1 of the Scarlet/Violet DLC, which just came out today. WOOOOO! :D

Tell me if it’s any good Joe! I still haven’t finished the game yet tbh :mefiant:

Well you have to buy the DLC first no? Plus I thought you didn't like the game!

Getting used to how Pokemon Go works, and got the first Pokemon I wanted for my Shield game! Just got 3 more Pokemon to go! :D
I think even after I get the Pokemon I want I'll probably still use it when going out for walks. I always liked venturing around but ever since the weather started getting hotter over the years....

I lost my Pokémon go back in February for some reason, and I just got it back the other day by making a new account so I could play with my friend

Oh what a shame :(
For some periods I used to play Pokémon GO a lot, in the first period I even found a Telegram group of people in my zone to play raids together and thanks to them I managed to catch many legendaries, also shiny!
Then I lost interest in it and I stopped playing for a while and when I returned I found out that my Telegram account got deleted and I couldn't find the group anymore :(
I had some friends who played it with me but sadly we weren't able to do 5 stars raids :(

There actually is a massive Pokémon GO community in my village, with almost everybody out walking along the streets or walking to school playing it. I used to be part of it before I quit a couple of months back and I unfortunately think the top players are now grown adults

That's cool!
And yeah I noticed it too, the group I was in there were people of all ages, from teenagers to adults, and the adults were the more experienced ones

In ours it was the late teens who always walked the streets fighting gyms and luckily they were on team mystic (same as me 8) ) but I haven’t seen it as much lately. Probably they went to college or smth

I plan to do an amount of time with each team. Although I'll probably be spending the most time with either Team Spark or Team Mystic (I like Zapdos and Articuno).

Regarding what I talked to you about the Pokemon I'm missing: Thanks to Pokemon Home and Pokemon Go, I actually was able to get the Pokemon I needed (though I'm probably going to have to play Sword and Shield multiple times now since I traded legends away), so I won't need your help anymore. But thanks for the offer. :)

Hehe it’s fine

Also if there was a green bird Pokémon like Grassiccuno and then they made team green I would join it 8) :proud:

I have heard the second half of the DLC for Scarlet and Violet will be released on December 13/14. My Pokémon interest will pique again when that time comes! :)

Is Scarlet and Violet worth checking out? I haven't been keeping up with the games for a while, admittedly, not since Sword and Shield.

They're probably the most drastic reinvention of the Pokémon formula (barring Arceus but that seems to exist in its own vacuum) and there's deffo a core of something quite compelling in there. It has been a while since I've played, but I remember having fun with it, and co-opping even if it's nothing more than just sharing a game world, was also quite fun.

I'd say if you can get it cheap, give it a shot, but it is really badly baked and there were some very very bad bugs and performance back when I was playing, and I don't think they are worth full price.

Thankfully I got mine free as a Christmas present then. :noel:

Even with the release of the new DLCs and updates, I'm not really sure if everything has been patched up. Why just last weekend, I remember hosting a group of random people online for a special tera raid battle and.......nothing happened, the game was frozen so I had to reset the game and start with a new batch. Also within the same day with a different tera raid battle, I started but I hadn't even made a move yet or knew what was going on when suddenly the timer was halfway down within a few seconds.

I guess this is as good a thread as any to mention this, but myself and my girlfriend started watching the original Pokémon recently. I used to watch it when I was a kid, and it was actually 25 years back when I first watched it (I'm getting old lol), but it's fun to actually see it again as an adult. I've actually been enjoying the first few episodes, and there are some funny parts I wouldn't have even expected to be in a kids show, or at least not these days.

I just found it fun even seeing the first episode again, where Pikachu sits in a tree laughing so hard at Ash. I also love all the cringe worthy puns, which I didn't even know were a thing in the show back then. No wonder I always make bad puns if I used to watch this show so much. :P

Man those were good times....I should watch the entire series at some point.....I'm pretty sure there's over a thousand episodes that I'd have to look at. Not counting movies either!

At last, the Indigo Disk DLC has been released for Scarlet and Violet! I'm both nervous and ecstatic! Wooooooo! I can't wait to play this new area in a certain region. :D

It's gold tbh, and Team Rocket seem much funnier as an adult because you know you can't really take them seriously.

I recall Brock being weird with girls also, but he's even weirder than I remember. I find it funny how every Nurse Joy and Officer Jenny look the exact same, and just claim that they're cousins or sisters. It also makes it funny when Brock says things like "you're even prettier than your cousin".
