Them? Oh they're from the end of the video tape that has all 4 Rayman episodes on it. it's like a behind-the-scenes thing at the end of the tape, I should know, I used to have the tape.

Ah thank you. I just watched it, great stuff! I'm using this video as a reference to complete my Rayman HD model. I'm working on the eyes/head and having great success. Next I need to learn how to rig. That3Dguy, where did you learn to rig? Can you link me to a good tutorial?

RTAS made its debut in 1999, so they most likely used 3D Studio MAX R2 that was released in 1997.

That makes it messed up considering Rayman has supposed romance with Ly, one he would be having it with his half-sister and two, with the daughter of his greatest enemy.
Not to mention Ly looks nothing like Dark or Betilla.

It’s just a fangame, so there’s no reason for it to fit with the real storyline.

Ikke, don't piss me off. However your idea is the closest so far. Before he became evil, Mister Dark and Betilla fell in love prior to Rayman 1. Using that chance, Mister Dark overthrew Betilla and stole the Protoon. Betilla tried to stop him from taking it, but he was too powerful (que Rayman 1 intro). Ly is Betilla's and Mister Dark's daughter (her colours are sort of a cross between the two if you think about it), and Betilla didn't want her to know that. This is what she tells Ly at the end of the game when she passes away, and Ly takes head of the Fairy Council.

I'm making sure not to interfere with the canon, only add to it. That's for both continuity and when I'm nearing completion I'll present it to Michel/Ubisoft, both as a portfolio presentation for a future job and to see if it has a chance at being published. If it's declined, I'll set it up as a free download. If it's accepted then I'll hope they'd be willing to improve the quality of some aspects using resources only companies and developers have access to. I do see a chance at it being accepted, because if I'm able to achieve the quality production I picture in my head (which I know how to achieve, it'll just be time consuming), then, from a money standpoint, they could use it as a tool to make money without having ever paid any developers. Of course it'll have to pass by Michel's view first, so I hope he sees it as worthy.
