I believe so.spiraldoor wrote:Maybe these secrets will be shown in the form of animated sequences rather than text?
Could I get any links?Haruka wrote:Official sources like interviews.Greenbottle3 wrote:Where did you hear that?spiraldoor wrote:We know that we will be able collect relics which will reveal secrets to us;

But they will have to affect the game in some way, because this game is supposed to be accessible to everyone, not only Rayman fans. It has to be a quest or something.spiraldoor wrote:I wonder if and how the scene itself will be shown in the game; perhaps as a flashback? Thanks much!El Dango wrote:Greenbottle3 wrote:Where did you hear that?spiraldoor wrote:We know that we will be able collect relics which will reveal secrets to us;
It's pretty early in the interview, around 2 minutes in.
In the only interview with the game’s lead programmer, whose name I have forgotten.Hunchman801 wrote:By the way, when and by whom were Globox's origins revealed?
I’m not sure what you’re trying to say.iambored2006 wrote:But they will have to affect the game in some way, because this game is supposed to be accessible to everyone, not only Rayman fans. It has to be a quest or something.
Not really. It’s just one aspect of one gameplay mechanic, and those are always changed between games. Look to the theft of the Great Protoon if you really want an explanation, or simply say to yourself that Rayman retains the ability in the later games but does not make use of it.iambored2006 wrote:Edit: I never thought about it, and I guess someone already pointed that out, but it's interesting that Rayman loses the secondary function of his hair (as a fan) between RO and R1 and never gains it back.
I always loved how Rayman swam in Rayman 3.Haruka wrote:It reminds me that in Rayman 3, Rayman uses his hair as a fan to swim faster in the Land of the Livid Dead. Who knows if the idea is taken off from here, or just coicidencial?
?? Does that mean you don't want to play RO??!!??stan423321 wrote:So now with 3DS version officially confirmed to be released later than other ones, is anybody waiting? (I still wonder whether to buy or not to buy a 3DS or maybe a discounted 360... guess it's easiest to not buy ANYTHING.)
Neither am I...spiraldoor wrote:I’m not sure what you’re trying to say.iambored2006 wrote:But they will have to affect the game in some way, because this game is supposed to be accessible to everyone, not only Rayman fans. It has to be a quest or something.

What's wrong with the Wii?Hunchman801 wrote:Something great about Origins is the gorgeous graphics, so I fail to see why someone would rather play it on the Wii or the 3DS, unless they really can't afford a PS3 or a 360.
