Nice collection. I only own about a handful of Wii U games. I should buy some more in the near future.
Also can you hear that? It's the sound of Snake's and Bomberman's votes dying. Bye Snake, you were interesting in Brawl.

Just because he's old now doesn't mean he isn't worthy

Konami needs to make Goemon HD Collection and put games on VC.
Because let's face it, after MGS and Silent Hills, Goemon is very well known, expecially in Japan. Having Goemon return on Wii U in new game and have HD collection of older ones and titles on VC would make Konami look way better. Expecially since MGS 5 will clearly be last game in series. It is time for Goemon to return.

Never heard of Goeman.

I'm gonna have to echo Brad's sentiment here, Goeman doesn't ring bells.
Konami's an interesting company, since they're not solely invested in video games, they're also responsible for stuff like the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG, if memory serves.

Well Goemon only had like 2 or 3 games released outsite Japan but in Japan it is pretty popular franchise. If they focused on Goemon, it is already guaranteed to be hit in Japan and they should also expand the franchise by making older titles avalible for purchase in West and make HD collection worldwide.
BTW, Smealum now released "regionfour" hack - upgraded version of "regionthree". This time it works on New 3DS as well and the newest firmware too. I can now play Japanese Rhythm Thief R on Ambassador New 3DS
This hack doesn't require you to be online so it is much superior. I doubt Nintendo will patch this one since Cubic Ninja is used as source.

Are you fucking serious? I own the platforming one for N64, it's not well known. Where the fuck did you get that from? It's a good series but don't at all think they're going to revive it, especially since the Western Audience doesn't give much of a fuck for it.
Oldclassicgamer wrote:and Silent Hills
Cancelled.
Agreed with Brad though, Konami is making dumb decisions all around lately.
Oldclassicgamer wrote:Expecially since MGS 5 will clearly be last game in series.
After the current drama going on with Kojima and Konami, are you sure you'd want to see Goemon in the hands of Konami? Konami is likely going to fuck up the Metal Gear series after V.
Face the facts, Silent Hill and Metal Gear were the only things that had Konami living outside of Japan, without it, they are undoubtedly fucked. I promise you.

The SNES ones were popular in Japan a lot. N64 one while good is not as good as the SNES titles. He wouldn't have so many sequels if he wasn't popular. He is not popular outside Japan I fully agree on that but that doesn't mean they can't introduce him to Western audience. Since we live in digital era, there is no reason why shouldn't they put Goemon games on VC. I only saw one Goemon game on 3DS eShop and it is some GameBoy title that is not even that good. We need SNES Goemon games.

I somehow highly doubt it will sell well here. I say continue the Rising series since Platinum Games actually makes them.

Contra's been gone for the longest time. And Castlevania is going downhill.

When was Castlevania's last game anyways? I haven't heard nothing of the series at all recently.

I would like Shovel Knight in Smash, actually. Just imagine all the bits...all of them...
Also, I hope they WONT f*ck up the Rayman Model if it gets in Smash.

Wasn't it Lords of Shadow 2, or something? I remember seeing a demo of a game of like name a while back.
