It does not support HD.

It's still Rayman Origins. How bad could the Wii be?

Nintendo fanboys are Nintendo Fanboys, and Sony Fanboys/Microsoft Fanboys are Sony Fanboys/Microsoft Fanboys
Jokes aside, I will buy it only for the Wii, simply because I hate most Microsoft stuff, and I don't see myself buying a PS3 in the future - no backwards compability? Go to hell.
I don't have a 3DS yet

What's wrong with the Wii?
It isn't HD, and the game is. PS3 and X360 are HD. I wonder if the Wii version will be HD on a Wii U, or if they will release a special Wii U version of the game.

I just realized something. Excuse me if it's been already noticed, but could the meditating Globoxes be the red wizards?

Yes, of course, and I think it's already been confirmed. Isn't red wizards the official name for Globox's species? Or is it Glute?

When was that confirmed?

That's the only reason I have to don't be able to play the PS3/360 version. Unless a miracle happened and I was able to get an Xbox 360.

My family owns both a Wii and a PS3, and my dad got a second PS3 controller for fathers day, so I'm probably going to get Rayman Origins for the PS3.

I've noticed some things while watching this italian video previously posted here-
http://www.italiatopgames.it/section/f. ... o=3189&p=8
In it, you can hear yet another variation of the RO theme from the original trailer, which also occurs in the second one, in 3:34. This is the first time this theme is heard in-game. I also (kind of) deciphered the wall drawings in the desert level as pictures of Globox-

- Picture 3.png (18.15 KiB) Viewed 1439 times

- Picture 5.png (35.88 KiB) Viewed 1439 times
And of the pink monster from the end of the first trailer (I think it's it)-

- Picture 4.png (48.71 KiB) Viewed 1439 times
There's another picture of her with her mouth showing sharp teeth, but I'm lazy, so find it yourself.
I also noticed some drawings of the big and small piranha from the website background on a wooden platform-

Edit: The theme can be heard even better in 3:57 to 4:10.
Second edit: I also noticed that when one player continues through the level while the other one stays behind, a bubble with the head of the player left behind appears. I didn't think it was that important, but I've just noticed that in this video-
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kYpyVdRAXlU , in the beginning, you can see Globox's head in such a bubble for no apparent reason (maybe it's an early test...?) .

I can imagine that the ps3/xbox360 version would have those pictures of art on it, while the wii/3DS version will not have that many details

I have reason to believe that the jungle level shown in some videos is actually the first level in the game. First of all, from what we've seen, it's very easy. Secondly, this-

The first picture shows the scene of Rayman's creation and the second one is the first part of the jungle level. Notice Rayman's pose.

Don't forget the suckage we call Media Markt. They're so totally more expensive than they should be!

Trust me, I can clearly remember spending hours looking for Rayman M, and the finding out how expensive it was. Greatest nighmare of my live.

For the server's sake, iambored2006, upload your images as JPGs (unless they're neat sprites like a snapshot from the original game).

I like the Nintendo, but it's really time that they started getting some HD on their systems. i mean, the Wii could easily have HD graphics if they wanted to! Guess i'll get my version for the PS3.

The theme from the trailer and the fact that the forest is the first level were kind of obvious, but nice work on the hieroglyphs. They were probably inspired by the ones shown at the beginning of the Globox Disc.

Indeed. I also wonder if the hieroglyiphs (in RO) will have some meaning later.

About HD, I've never really cared for it. I almost always go for the low definition version of DVDs, especially if they're cheaper. I've seen those HD to low definition comparisons, but the only difference I see is that the HD one is darker.

Nah. 1080p is crisp and detailed, 480i is blurry and retarded.
