Matyuv is right. High definition is superior to standard definition. This isn’t even a matter of opinion – it’s inarguable truth.

It's unarguable truth, but still some people don't see difference. I mean, everybody knows that colour TVs are better than black'n'white ones, though in era of first ones being new, guess which one was to be bought by a colour-blind person. (And yes, this was a super bad example, I just wanted to show you general idea and I know you can show a lot of holes in this particular case.)

Maybe those guys who are saying there is no difference in 1080p and 480 don't even know what are they saying.
I just needed to have the luck of getting an Xbox 360 to enjoy the game in Full HD. If in the meantime I have an upgrade to my living room's tv for a LED one, it would be feeling like in heaven.

Not. At. All.
Examples:
1) People with eyes sick in a way everything's blurry.
2) People with eyes... well, word sick is bad here... sensitive to rescaling, especially with some specific X360 and PS3 titles.
I definitely like 1920x1080, however I can understand those people because I absolutely hate modern 200/240 Hz TVs while watching CGI animated movies with family, something makes the flow of characters "too natural and still not natural" for my tastes, and absolutely nobody gets it, though some people tolerate that.

And they absolutely work of 100% of sick people. Wait, that was 99%. Not a difference, huh? |SARCASM=OFF|

+1
It can depend of the TVs and the cables being used too. I'm talking about when there are conditions to difference the resolutions.
EDIT: Whoa, password needed to see the content of this?

Apparently the information is not for everyone.
EDIT2: Ancel seems interested and excited to take Rayman Origins to the 3DS:
http://www.eurogamer.pt/articles/2011-0 ... ins-na-3ds (Portuguese)
I'll translate it:
The creator of Rayman, Michel Ancel, talked about his excitement in taking Rayman Origins to the Nintendo 3DS, believing he will take advantadge of the functionalities of the console.
The 3DS version isn't the only one which will reach the market but Ancel shows up particularly enthusiastic for with this version.
"I am excited to make a game which takes in account the funcionalities of the Nintendo 3DS," said Ancel to Nintendo Power.
"It is something that takes some time, but it is something that every game should do to this kind of system. I am excited with Rayman Origins in Nintendo 3DS!"
Rayman Origins is the most recent game in the series and it is the second game of the character in the system after Rayman 3D. We'll wait for more novities.
There is still some hope for its quality.
EDIT3: Someone buy this issue:

Does anyone has a guess what is the password needed for the new blog entry? and more interesting - what's the content? the title says "The Food Land – introduction" maybe it's a video showing parts of the food land when rayman first enters it?

Unfortunately I'll have to buy it on Wii but I hope Hunchman801 will be kind enough to let me play with him in multiplayer on his PS3!

Well, 3DS has a 240p screen. And do not forget the quality of scan.

Are you seriously suggesting that the existence of blind people means HD is not always better? Where are you going with this?

Don't see a difference.
Try watching a DVD and a Blu-ray side-by-side. The difference will be obvious unless there is something very wrong with your eyes.

I assume they’re going to reveal it soon enough, possibly to a limited number of people.
