Here in germany I keep saying "Die männliche-späzie" or "Die weibliche-späzie" and for them it's not such a big deal.

Well, these are not German forums. I don't know German language very good so I can't tell if you are wrong or not but I am still somehow sure you are wrong since why would something like that be different only for German language

Here, species is a very stone-cold term. If you were confused, you should have looked it up to make sure you were using it correctly, instead of… failing to do that and actually going as far as to argue against it.
