You could still hear though. But yeah, I would probably just ask them to put me to sleep if the blindness was incurable.

Actually, people with bad eyesight like me (around -5 and some other problems which I don't enjoy talking about) have their eyesight become better in years... For example, my mom's eyesight improved by like 1,5 already.
