Even if you only enjoy the newer games, you gotta appreciate it's roots.
And I do except for Rayman 2. Fuck that game. :oops2:

It hasn't aged well, but at the time it was brilliant.

Why do you give a shit? I don't hate Rayman 2. I just don't like it as much as the other four games and I show my distaste in an exaggerated way. It's way too easy, resulting the game to hand hold the player, the game becomes a bare wasteland after collecting everything after beating the game, enemies and level design don't provide much challenge, the world is very boring with little to no variety in landscapes, and the music is boring too. The most boring sounding soundtrack in the entirety of the Rayman franchise. I can literally pick 5 tracks I like. The story or characters from Rayman 2 can't save this game's own ass.

Rayman 3 was definitely easier than the 2

Yeah, I doubt that. Anyway, here's another image I came across on Tumblr. Don't know if it's official or not, but it won't hurt to share it here.

But if you look closely at the Hunter in the back, he seems to be wearing a hat, which they have never been seen with before.

The picture is very long so I apologize for posting it this way. Not sure if this had been posted before but I haven't seen it here before, so here ya go!
I like how there are many wrong stuff. Maybe starting to hire Rayman fans to write about facts wouldn't be a bad idea.

I would happily be paid to do that

We should seriously make a more accurate fan-made one. Anyone else interested?

The chart isn't actually wrong, they just ignored spin-off games before the UbiArt Rayman era.

Does this mean that Rayman 2 and 3 were spin-off games too, because both of those games had occasional multiplayer stuff in them. xD

I also noticed something, they say that Rayman 3 is the only Rayman game with dubbed voices, but the first one was actually Rayman 2 for ps1 and the second one Rayman Revolution for ps2.

Uh, no? Can you play the main game of Rayman 2/3 with a friend? Point proven.

Jesus almighty, I'm pretty sure they ignored those other games.

Which is still awkward considering that we're talking about "history", not "selective history".
Rayman Jungle Run being the first Rayman mobile game? Tooootally accurate considering the fact that numerous Rayman mobile games were made before that, including RRR, Rayman Kart and a mobile version of Rayman 3. :D

Also am I the only one who finds it slightly awkward that up to this point almost half (if not more) of Rayman's history rests on the UbiArt era?
At least back when Origins was launched I thought of it only as a chapter of Rayman's history, not as The Rest of it until they randomly decide to drop it altogether after the fifth UbiArt Rayman game. :?

And Rayman 2 was also ported to mobile :fou:

By my surprise it is framed a group of Rayman images in the style of different famous painters. Some are already known but others it is the very first time I see like Impressionist Rayman (Claude Monet) and Neoplasticist Rayman (Piet Mondrian). Here's the photo I took.

Hey now, there's The Kiss from Gustav Klimt. And it's Rayman and Ly in the piece. One more artwork into my This Was the Official Ship Bag.
