Can we just have this global testfire on daily until the game comes out? It's getting annoying how we need to find specific times to do this. Anyways, maybe I'll bump into you online Brad.

Just before midnight for me so I'll hopefully manage. Remembering is the real problem in my case.

Please tell me when Splatoon comes out there is a way to make friends-only matches, if so RPC could have a pretty interesting battle. If we're only able to fight random opponents that will be disappointing.

You're gonna get annoyed by this, but we won't get a proper friend matching system until August. We can join with friends, but we'll be randomized and the matches won't be customized. This will all come on the August update. I really want to play this game with you guys, so it sucks that we have to wait two to three months for this.

So basically, they're releasing an incomplete game, with free DLCs to complete it? That sounds pretty dumb, if you ask me.

So when is the testfire exactly? I don't know what PSTD is...

I've heard people discuss this but I didn't even know it was official until now. Honestly I really can't stand Nintendo's method of "we'll unlock more maps for the player the higher the level they reach." Why aren't we able to have access to those maps on the spot? Honestly a little stupid if you ask me.

I mean, unless I'm missing something, that's just a common stage unlocking system to keep people playing, right?

I just hope Ninty's not about to take on the idea of presenting the content that actually completes the game as "free DLC". I really don't want this stuff to start catching on and make companies think its OK to push their developers into rushing games for preferred release dates. I haven't played it, but remember the video of the ship glitching through the entire world in Assassin's Creed. Though at least in the case of Nintendo I couldn't imagine them ever putting out glitchy games or adding free DLC to major Mario/Zelda titles.

Yeah, it's really lame. Though, I can't wait to get more information on the upcoming maps, gears, and the game modes. So far there's two confirmed game modes which are: Tower Control (Payload) and Rainmaker (don't have any info on it).

Going back to the commercials, they are terrible and the comments are even worse. BUT! I have to admit the "Squid Kid" was catchy. It was stuck in my head for a whole day at work. It was awful.

PSTD was a misspelled PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). If I done it right, I was hoping someone would have taken notice, like a WTF? reaction mostly. What I originally meant was the time I listed was in Pacific Time.

I wouldn't say that exactly. Yeah, only five maps for the first month, but we also have a single player mode and local multiplayer, albeit they weren't as focus as much as online multiplayer.

I agree/disagree. I disagree with it being daily. If they did that, people will probably get there fix and have enough of Splatoon. It's still a long way away, so it's a possibility. I would prefer if they did a free weekend. Have the whole weekend with the severs up so it could be more convenient for everyone to play, while make people wanting more when it's over.
