Re: Rayman 1
Yeah. It's absolutely brilliant. A) It's Rayman. B) It's made subtle improvements to lower the difficulty, heighten it in some parts. C) It does it in a balanced way, so that one level is difficult, then there's about 3 or 4 easier levels. D) Perfectly placed secrets. E) Graphics are amazing for a GBA game. F) Music is amazing for a GBA game. I'd give it a 9/10. It's brilliant.

Re: Rayman 1

Even on today's standards, it pushes the GameBoy Advance hardware to quite a point, and then the fact that it was a launch title.

Re: Rayman 1

It makes the GameBoy Advance hardware work to the best of its ability. I was quite surprised to see its quality with the GameBoy Advance keeping it very well. I've seen it, now I just want it. (My Rayman disc for PlayStation is so stratched up from all the play that the PlayStation frequently hangs or has other issues, and I'd really like to play it again.

Re: Rayman 1

Well, nearly 6 years ago, and on a portable game console.

Re: Rayman 1

My views on the PoSP aren't anything good. Its graphics aren't that great (except for Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops. I'll admit that squeezing the Metal Gear Solid 3 engine onto a UMD is quite something.), the games are either ports or bad, most of them (very few are entertaining), and why would I care to watch movies on it? I don't know who can stand having their eyes pressed up against the screen to watch a movie (I believe that 7" screens are small enough.) plus the fact that it costs more to manufacture than digital video discs, meaning a higher price tag with less features then because of storage space. The price tag of the unit itself is high and I don't feel like paying for games for a portable game console at $50 a piece...At that, I'd like to see more innovation out of a portable game console--another reason why I'd prefer a Dual Screen over it.
