Man, this game. I was very excited for this game, but when I dow loaded the game for the first time on my iphone7 I was a bit disappointed since the controls were clunky (unsurprisingly to me though). Now that I have a bigger phone I wonder if I’ll fare any better this time since I pretty much quit after flipping the first level 7 times.

i garantee you will have a great time... with an iphone and a controller

I will indeed have a decent time...if I ever find a bluetooth controller that works for this game (i have hardly any experience with bluetooth devices). I haven't played the game far enough to have encountered bugs/glitches, but from all the other posts I've seen from other people there appear to quite a lot of them, and they make some achievements near impossible to claim, which would bother me since I see myself as a perfectionist. I still feel I should play for myself JUST to see if what they say is true about this game.

just make sure its ios, android doesnt support controllers for somre reason

This was discussed a little earlier this morning but Rayman Classic has disappeared from App Stores so it can’t be found/downloaded anymore.

On Android, you can still download Rayman Classic if you've downloaded it before it became unlisted.

I find it strange that the game was deleted for unknown and welcome Back CHRdutch.

It reminds me of the way that Rayman 2 for iPhone also mysteriously (or not, I don't have a lot of info on that one) disappeared. And welcome back CHRDutch!

Anyway, I wonder why it's gone. I know people said the controls were terrible, but surely there's no harm in leaving it available?

I don't really get why they removed the game all out of a sudden either, but I suppose that it's due to licensing issues, since that is the most common reason why some games suddenly disappear.

Either that, or the game just sucked so much that they wanted to let everyone forget about it's existence.

Whatever happened, my phone just says Rayman on the actual downloaded app (instead of Rayman Classic) and if I go to the Play Store then choose installed apps I can see it. I get the option to open or uninstall and I assume pressing uninstall would mean I can't get the game again unless I download the APK manually.

Well maybe. Someone might have realized that it might make people who haven't played the original think that the whole series sucks. I don't know if anyone who cares that much about artistic integrity is in a position to make this kind of decision, but I suppose it's a possibility.

Yeah I’m puzzled too. Why would Ubisoft remove things without even telling us about it!?

They don’t give a damn about Rayman anymore I guess.

It's a shame though that Ubisoft doesn't care about Rayman anymore. I mean, it's their mascot! That's what made them (Ubisoft) popular!

Or, like I said, maybe they give so much of a damn about him that they're getting rid of the sucky ports so they don't tarnish the reputation of the series as a whole.
