I was learning both too, and I'd agree that German is the easier of the two. It would still be harder than English, but the French language is so confusing. Every word is spelt differently than the English pronounciation.

i got dropped down a French class, i got VERY angry about that D:< im not that fucking bad at the language, teachers say i have a talent in languages too o.o

I was pretty bad at learning French. I only managed to pick up simple sentences and words. Perhaps it was because the teacher was Italien and couldn't speak English perfectly...? German was the better subject to me and I've recently found I've passed the subject ^_^

Well my original French teacher moved back to France, so we got the Italien lady, who wasn't much good at the job. She took the majority of the classes I attended.

i had an Irish french teacher, she allways shouts when shez beside me, i would of made her pay for hearing aids if i needed them cuz of her shouting :/

When I was in lower secondary school my Norwegian teacher was fat. So fat that one day the zipper on her trousers ripped open, revealing her looooovely fat-pussy to put it like that (she wore panties of course but still). She walked around like that for an entire lesson before she noticed. It was terrible. I sat at the front row and I'm scarred for life.

That's just given me the worst image ever. Mind you, I suppose we had a similar woman in our school, but fortunately she kept her trousers under control.

People actually still speak that in the highlands

I'm from Germany and my first language is of course German .
But I also speak English, French, (fluently) and some Spanish. And I know turkish insulsts
I want to learn Italien, because it's an interesting language.

I'd like to learn German but I don't know where to start lol. I suppose enabling German dubs in cartoon and film DVDs and watching them may help, but I dunno, I coulda benefited from having it at school.

I've been learning French for 6 years now and I still can't speak it/write it...

Germans easier than french but it's still pretty hard, you see, you learn the hard stuff first but once your good at it it's pretty easy, or so i kept being told 'cuz i suck ass at german and i've been learning it for 3 years now.

I would say German is harder than French, yeah, but then I found German a pretty easy language really. So long as you remember the important rules, it flows almost as well as English. French on the other hand, I could never get my head around the grammar or pronounciation of certain words.
